This place is super tasty, cheap, and filling! The atmosphere is cozy because it’s a small place so come earlier than rush hour! I got the chicken and Chinese sausage hot pot and stir fried yu- choy. They prepare it more traditionally so it’s not heavy on salt and all that other stuff, just enough flavoring to be tasty but not overpowering. 10/10 would recommend!

It’s a rare find in Boston for sure. Don’t expect much in service and seating, it’s a quite small place.

Wide selection breakfast to dinner at good prices including eel and frog and best scallion pancakes I’ve had.

Super affordable food! Small place with fast service. The rice coming out from the claypot is fragrant with the right amount of crunchy. The pork and century egg porridge was good as well!

CASH ONLY! It’s a “hole in the wall” tucked in a corner building kind of restaurant, but it’s good! Come here for a variety of clay pot rice, it’s take awhile to cook, so be patience. While waiting for the rice, definitely order their herbal soup! I ordered the oxtail herbal soup ($10) and pork patty with salted fish clay pot rice ($10.75) and while waiting, spicy curry fish balls ($5). Delicious & will come back for sure!

The elderly gentleman owner/waiter is extremely rude to Chinese diaspora who don’t speak Mandarin/Cantonese. Menu is in Chinese and English, however. They also guilt trip you to tip. The eel clay pot dish, price, and during-meal service is good. I would not return unless there’s a change in management.

Loved the food here! Definitely a hole-in-the-wall type of spot but very authentic in taste. My husband got the Chinese sausage and chicken clay pot and I got the minced beef and egg clay pot. Both were delicious! I love how the rice got crispy where it touches the clay pot—added some nice flavor and texture. If I lived in Boston, I’d love to come here often for some nice comfort food!!

Claypot rice here is pretty good and they offer a variety of toppings. I think they could make it a little saltier but that’s just me. Scallion pancake is okay. Customer service is not that good: we ordered peking ravioli and they never brought it out and didn’t say anything. After we checked out and about to leave, they were like oh we ran out of the ingredients ♀️ Restaurant is quite small and takes cash only.

This restaurant always lets customers park in the bike lane. No regard for the safety of others in the community trying to use the bike lanes. These are not personal parking spots for your restaurant. I hope you consider your community members on bikes after reading this.

Small restaurant with big flavors . They make the dumplings in house and they were awesome. The book choy was delicious as well. We got a rice clay pot with bacon and sausages and it was delicious as well.
