Claudio’s Gourmet Sandwich Shop was created in 2020 by Claudio Semilia. After being in business as Fortunato’s for 18 years Claudio recognized business changing and wanted to make things easier for his customers. He decided to take all the best from Fortunatos and expand it into a faster more expedited experience. We now offer Fortunato’s famous subs, brick oven pizza, a variety of soups and salads, and prepared foods.

Great place to eat! They do lunch sandwiches and catering. Best Italian sandwich shop in my opinion! Great selections and very affordable prices, I can get an awesome sandwich for less than a McDonald burger would cost. Definitely recommend if you enjoy genuine food.

Small place off mantoloking road parking is hard to find but well worth the trip. Stopped by for lunch and the menu had plenty of options. Fresh sliced meats and fresh mozz you can’t go wrong but the bread is the star of the show. Crunchy and delicious sandwich I got the #5 and could only finish half. will definitely be back

#34 was just the best sandwich I ever had. Usually a gavone and I couldn’t even finish it. For just a couple bucks more Claudio’s always blows Jersey Mikes or anywhere else around here out of the water. Been going here for 20+ years and they are the real deal for Italian style food and catering. Support this local small business and you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped for two sandwiches and a container of anti-paste. No prices on the wall – came to $74.00!! $74.00 for two sandwiches that I thought I remembered having a lot more meat on them. Learned my lesson – won’t go back again.

Prices on their website are outdated and higher when you pay. Don’t forget to add another 4% if you pay by card. The sub was good but $24 good, no. Drop $10 off and then it’s a fair price for what it is. Taste wise it was fine for the area but not for NJ. Then there’s the pre made display case or the cookies where nothing has a price. I’m out to eat lunch, not solve a mystery.

Honestly drove past this place 79083 times and never stopped. I decided to give it a go- omg. So glad I did. Fresh fresh crispy bread, delicious sandwich. Real authentic good sub, no Jersey mikes BS. Soooo good I ate it in the car couldn’t wait till I got home.
