Fabulous! We went today for the first time, and both of our meals were amazing! We will definitely be back! The owner, Joe, was very sweet as well and you can tell he really cares about this business. Thank you!

I am from North Carolina, And have lived in almost every barbecue Capitol in the US. Barbecue is in my blood. This is the best barbecue I’ve ever had outside of the south and since my favorite place didn’t survive the pandemic, ever. The pork was seasoned perfectly, the Carolina sauces are 10/10 (the others were 10/10 too), the Cole slaw was perfect and not too mayo-y, the potato salad was great, the beans were great. The owner is so knowledgeable and friendly, he sat and talked to us for a while. This is a hidden gem in Midland, and I cannot wait to visit family again so I can come back here.

Too bad we have to give a star to review. This was the worst bbq I’ve ever had. The brisket was burnt and dry with a texture similar to store brand beef jerky with zero flavor. Pulled pork sandwich was dry and tasteless and the sauces didn’t help. Literally tasted like nothing. I could’ve made better Mac and cheese out of a box. All for around $45….for lunch! We won’t be back.

I just moved to town and was excited to try a local Smokehouse. I ordered the sliders and tried 3 different ones, pork, chicken and burnt ends. Everything was delicious and had plenty of meat fall off and still had plenty on each slider. I had the beans and also thought they were very good. The deviled eggs were amazing and a must try. I’m glad it’s so close so I can try everything. The peanut butter milkshake is next. Joe gave me amazing service and was a pleasure to have a conversation with, I plan on many more…

If I could give them 0 stars I would. This was the worst food I have ever had the ribs we so over cooked they weren’t edible they were more like jerky than regular meat. Not to mention there was barely any meat on them it was all bone and cartilage. The pulled pork sandwich was soggy and barely any coleslaw on it. The bun was old and everything was ice cold. Both of them had very little flavor. I would not recommend them to anyone nor will we ever return.

Wow!!!! This place is fantastic!!! Absolutely recommend. Delicious burnt ends and pulled pork grilled cheese (with pickles and caramelized onions) did not disappoint. Tom, the Pit Master, was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about his craft. You can tell he has a passion for what he does. Craig, the funny one, was pretty sweet, too.

Had a business meeting here with one of my clients today. Got the sampler platter for two with brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork, spicy sausage (*a-MA-ziiing*), bbq beef tips, potato salad, bbq baked beans, and corn bread loaf. We loved it. Definitely recommend. Best BBQ spot in Midland? Maybe. Guess you’ll have to give it a taste for yourself.

I decided to try this BBQ option in midland as it is on my way to work and always smells delicious. When ordering what I thought was essentially a spicy brat in a bun ,I received a plain grilled sausage(dry). Ordered brisket again dry and tough. Bbq sauce was bland with vinegar after taste. Baked beans tasted like there was old beer as part of the recipe. Menu is sparse and difficult to read as to how you order and what you should expect to receive. Literally $24.00 for food 75%of which was inedible. Hopefully they get better or find there niche for at this point bbq is not it.

This was my first visit and I got the burnt end sliders. Three little sandwiches that were full of flavor and multiple sauces at the table. I wish I would’ve ordered some sides because would try more of their menu. Most likely will be back.
