Passing through the area and was looking for a place for lunch. Chose CJ’s because it was rated high but we were very impressed. The service was great and the food came out stunningly fast. We assumed so fast that it was put together badly but again we were very impressed. The food was great. My wife got the fish and chips and she said they were great. The burger I got was big, cooked right and delicious. If we come back to the area CJ’s is a guaranteed stopping spot for us. Thank you for a great lunch

Tried CJ’s for the first time tonight. Was not disappointed! We each got a burger, which is one of the better burgers we’ve had, along with onion rings and sweet potato fries. Both were very good! Our server was friendly, funny, and timely! We will be back.

My waitress was Jill. She was phenomenal!!! I watched her interact with almost every table, help her coworkers as needed and she stayed don top of everything our rowdy group of 7 needed. The food was spectacular. Only down side was the owner. He was so negative and rude and talked down to his staff. I was embarrassed for them. Several of those young ladies seemed to cower around him. Definitely ruined the atmosphere. Would come back of he changed or wasn’t there. Again, staff was wonderful and food was awesome.

This was my first time at this place. We had fast friendly service with our waitress and our food. My husband ordered the jalapeño burger and waffle fries, and I ordered the Traverse City Cherry burger. The burger had no cherries that I could find or taste, so I was disappointed because that was a ” customer favorite “. If I was to judge it on being a regular burger, it was good, my husband said his was good as well. The waffle fries were the best we have had so far!

My husband and I stopped in for the 1st time today! We were greeted as we walked in, service was great, food selection was awesome, full bar and 10 drafts on tap—BONUS! My husband order the Mushroom Swiss Burger and LOVED it. I ordered the Nachos and it was huge and tasty. Our waitress was friendly and personable. The owner visited our table to check on us and we got to talking about the Tigers. We will be back soon.

Waitress took forever to take our order and never came to refill our drinks. Food took over an hour to come out. Eventually got our appetizer and the chips were stale. Food was also COLD and portions were tiny. Awful experience and will not be back. Shameful establishment.
