So glad we tried this place. My fiance really enjoyed his soup and was surprised to find half a crab in it! It was my first time trying ceviche and I loved it! Definitely try the passion fruit juice we couldn’t get enough of it.

The food was delicious and the restaurant provided a great atmosphere. They serve very traditional Peruvian food that you won’t find in a lot of places. I highly recommend having a pisco sour while you’re there!

My family LOVES this restaurant!! We were visiting New London to visit the Coast Guard Academy. We wanted to eat at a local restaurant and found Pollos A La Brasa on Google as a highly recommended restaurant. We were amazed by the food! First of all we all got huge portion sizes. The food tasted so delicious and this is the consensus of a family that has very different tastes. Customer service was excellent and the ambience is great. You will be happy with this restaurant! Oh! It is safe for people with nut allergies.

We had lunch at a Peruvian restaurant in C.T some years back. We wanted to try this one for awhile and was not disappointed. Far better then the last one. My wife wanted the Arroz Chaufa con Camarones, rice ,egg ,and shrimp I wanted the rotisserie chicken but l was told they were out of chicken. When l asked why because it’s so popular the owner told me that take out usually cleans them out. Made sense being a Saturday so I ordered Arroz Chaufa con Mariscos the seafood rice. Will be going back again on a week day this time.

Absolutely incredible. This was my first time going to a Peruvian restaurant. I felt like something different, so I took a chance. I had no idea what to order. Two adults shared a half chicken with rice and beans and a salad. The child had a cut and fried hot dog with french fries. After my first bite of each item, I could not wait to come back again. It was that good. I’ve already recommended this place to about a half dozen people in the few days since we’ve gone. Great atmosphere, clean place, and very friendly, attentive staff. Authentic! Again, I cannot wait to go back!

We absolutely love the food! Our goal is to have everything on the menu. We are 10 in already! Service is a bit slow but the servers are very friendly.

Peruvian restaurant, or an attempt to be a Peruvian restaurant? Whatever it is, it is not a good experience.

First time here, came with some workers. Grand opening sign in front. Place is big, will offer live music, full bar. Peruvian beer in bottle along with some Connecticut local “Groton to east Lyme” beers on Tap. Peruvian soda and chicka a purple corn juice (amazing!!) The service is fitting of the grand opening sign so they are rough around the edges, how ever the quality of food made up for it. The roast chicken was delightful. The chaufa was beautifully subtle. The rice was obviously cooked in chicken stock rather than just water. Light on the salt, just enough to bring out flavor, and the chicken is perfectly cooked. The yuca fries and plantains tasted fresh, and again flavorful but light. The beans were in an almost soupy gravy and lovely.

From the outside is not as warning as when you get inside… maybe I’m not from this area… inside the staff was very friendly and the place looks clean and big. Don’t judge a book by its cover kinda scenario. However, I was not impressed with the food… 🙁 I have been to other Peruvian restaurants and they have done better. I would say that to my taste I wouldn’t try them again sorry…

It’s been years since I had ceviche mixto! Before I visit this spot I was at ocean beach and tbh this is the spot to get pollo and mariscos peruvian style! I love my Mexican aguachiles and mariscos but this spot is legit ! Gracias !
