The ambiance is nice at city works, went there for a friends birthday dinner. The food was good, service fair and the drinks were top notch. They have indoor and outdoor dinning which is great for those who enjoy fresh air. My pasta gluten free pasta dish was delicious, no complaints at all. The duck nachos were ok, not sure I will get them again and the shrimp tacos and fries were also very good. The mule drink was good and my peach drink was also very good, they aren’t stingy with the spirits like some other establishments. I recommend giving them a try if you want to try something different. The revolving door will give you a workout so if you don’t have much upper body strength then use the regular door.

What a great place! Food was delicious… they have something for everyone…. WIDE beer selection, wines mixed drinks. So nice to have more then just IPA BEERS AVAILABLE we love a good wheat beer!! Very nice atmosphere large outdoor seating. What made this place even better was our server it’s so hard anymore to find a good server and “Maddison” was super friendly and if we needed anything she was happy to get it and never seemed like it was a bother. Business should treasure workers like her it makes customers feel welcome and want to come back! Wish we had one in Lancaster pa but we will definitely be back when it’s nice out and we will bring some friends to enjoy some good food and drinks on the deck.

My daughter took us here on Mother’s Day. I was impressed! At the front desk, they were handing out a to customers (mothers )…& that was nice! The food were delicious, service was outstanding & most especially the place itself, it was really nice! I highly recommend this place & Definitely will go back–when we visit Philly again.

I ordered the fried chicken sandwich (with grilled chicken sandwich setup) and friend got the scorpion burger. I thought the sandwich and fries tasted mediocre, flavor was lacking and chicken was tough. Did not meet expectations, especially based on the price point. However, service was PHENOMENAL! Our waitress was very accommodating and made our experience pleasant.

Overall I can say I am having such a wonderful time here. Yes I am currently sitting at my table writing this because I can’t hold in how great the food is here. This is my first time eating here and the owner or manager of City Works came and gave us a free appetizer of chicken buffalo dip. I gotta say it’s pretty good and spicy. The food was amazing, the staff helpful and considerate. Besides that the food was amazing. The baked beans! Omg they will be a reason I will be back lol. I also got the French toast and omg is that delicious. I was about to burst through the seams from how full I was but I could not stop eating that French toast. I gotta say if I’m in King of Prussia again I will be stopping by here.

We came in for a work lunch for a new employee a little before lunch time, so we were one of only three tables. We were seated immediately, but our server was a little slow out of the gate; it looked like they might have still been setting up when we arrived so it wasn’t a big deal. It did take them about 5 minutes after we were seated to come over and greet us, and about another 5 minutes for our drink order to arrive. After that however, everything was flawless, so again, not a problem at all. The appetizer and our entrees were excellent. And since one of our party had never been there before, they brought out an extra couple appetizers on the house. We were in and out in a little over an hour, perfect early work lunch. Not our first time there, and will certainly not be our last.

I should have took a picture of the food but it was too yummy. Lol. I came here for my birthday and Mike was our server. He was amazing and highly accommodating! You are a lucky guest if he happens to be your server! He will go above and beyond.

City Works is a fun place to gather to watch the local game and eat good food. The wall is lined with tvs so you’ll be able to find something of your liking to watch. The food is delicious and extremely well presented on the plates. Service is prompt and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

We just finished Easter brunch, and it was a wonderful experience! Mary was our server, and she was awesome. She was super attentive to our party of five including a toddler. The food and drinks were great, and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. We will be back!
