First time! All around Home Run. Pull pork was excellent, tender, and juicy. The coleslaw was creamy and right on top. Perfect! The fries were delicious. For a kicker, sampled the brisket, can’t say my favorite sauce but it gets a kick that’s smooth all the way down. Happy eating.

We got a half slab of ribs and fries and the More Cowbell sandwich and hush puppies, and chocolate cake. Everything was good and the portions were not small. My husband even went back for more Texas toast. The availability of sauces and the ability to control how much was great, and they had malt vinegar for the hush puppies! Thank goodness. The people were pleasant and helpful, as this was our first time there. My husband said it was exactly what he needed after a long day.

We have been to this location a dozen times at least since it has opened. We always get great food and the staff is always in a good mood.

I love eating grilled meats out on a patio. This location also has a very kind competent staff. Solution driven…I said “my fries are weird” her response “our fryer is being weird we put it away for the day SORRY about that” then slid me a condiment sized cup of cream corn. It was the sorry that had me wanting to skip away from the register but the creamed corn is tasty too. Hands down the Best kids meal in the area.

The food was excellent. Unfortunately, we had items missing from our order. I called and they were unwilling to assist, which was disappointing. I would’ve been happy with receiving the food I paid for. I didn’t ask for anything special.

The prices are astronomical for very little food. I ordered the more cowbell sandwich and it was three small strips of blanched brisket, on their half sized Texas toast with lots of slimy onions and peppers for $9.99. keep in mind, none of their dishes or sandwiches come with any sides anymore. You must pay at least $2.99 extra. There are no combos. This place used to be great, now it’s not nearly worth the money. 2/10 most likely will never return.

Went to a soft opening today for City Barbecue in Kettering in their new location across from Delco Park. They had a limited menu but we were treated to a wonderful meal. They will have their full menu on opening day.

Got take out- cranny but bland Mac & cheese, collards were surprisingly good, baked beans were the star of the sides definitely getting those again, that and the hush puppies were seriously delicious (and I’m not usually a fan of hush puppies at all). The meats – turkey was, well, turkey, not bad but not great it’s turkey… Beef brisket had nice bark and good flavor but was exceptionally fatty. The pulled pork though, that was delicious, perfectly cooked and smoked, just a hint of greasy goodness. Sauces were pretty solid as well, we got regular and spicy and both complimented the meat instead of masking it.

We stopped in for a late lunch on the day after Christmas. My wife had the pulled pork and I had sliced brisket. Both were excellent. The restaurant was not busy, which was unusual. We have noticed a full parking lot and a busy drive-up window when passing by on Dorothy Lane.
