Customer service is HORRIBLE! We ordered our food over the phone and inform them of a food allergy and they let me know that they wouldn’t use the food product that I’m allergic to. COOL. Right? NO! As we are waiting for our food it is taking forever! As if they’re making it from scratch of something. We went back and forth into the restaurant to see how much longer and NOBODY came to check with us even when we requested for help. (And even called AGAIN) I decided to go back to the car and wait what felt like another 5-10 minutes I went back in to see why on gods green earth was going on and where our food was a lady came out kinda hostile (I never even got a word out yet) saying to me that she doesn’t know what order I’m talking about all because I mentioned a food allergy. Like what? Even though she made it clear that they do not use that product unless it was requested and that they only use it with certain foods and not on or in what I ordered. Mind you I ordered over the phone 35 minutes before and after waiting literally 40 something odd minutes we left. Atp I’m sure they didn’t even take our order or make our food for whatever weird reason.! I don’t want to eat from anyone that is so unprofessional and rude. And where you order from at this restaurant would make anyone feel claustrophobic. People are insane.! First encounter and will be my last.

The food was delicious, but the wait was long and nowhere to wait or sit or eat, and the service was pretty slow. We got potato greens. They were seasoned perfectly and the serving was enough for 3 of us to eat.

Place look sketchy and the part of area it’s located in isn’t the best but the food is very good! I would definitely recommend to all. The food is spicy for a FYI. My spice tolerance is pretty good but it has me sweating. There is no 1 to 5 spice level. It’s just as is. But trust me the food is freaking delicious!

Before COVID the atmosphere was cool, very family oriented. I drive 1hr 45min to get this food! Very reasonable on the price. And it never disappoint, they are simply one of the best in Minnesota. They also always remember me even after years of not visiting.

THE CASSAVA LEAF WAS DISGUSTING… IT HAS SO MUCH OIL INSIDE AS SOON AS I OPENED THE CONTAINER OIL FLEW OUT IT WAS SO TRIFLING! do better that is not how you make cassava leaf it was more oil than anything ! I will never go back!

i have been an insanely loyal customer here. the fufu and pepper soup with just beef is AMAZING. the service takes a while, they will say 20 minutes but it is more so an hour before picking up the food.

I’ve been going here for years but these past few months, the food I’ve been getting is either at the bottom of the pot or something. It has a burnt taste to my meals. I switched from greens to soups and I think it’s the same burnt oil. You can recommend the restaurant, but if they knows best, I cannot go back to trying burnt BBQ flavored tasting African food that “extra” ingredient isn’t right.

I don’t know where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. They are highly overpriced and the food always tastes burnt. I’ve ordered from them several times within the past fee months thinking I just got a bad batch, and nope it’s always the same.
