Wow! What a hidden gem! The atmosphere is quaint and charming. The service is superb. And the food fabulous! I had the swordfish with a side of Brussel sprouts. My wife had the pasta primavera . Both were excellent!

We made last minute reservation online for 7:00 pm. Arrived 6:40 and greeted with your table is ready. We sat outside at the corner table for 2. It is a little noisy but comfortable. The menu was short but enough to find something we liked. Very good conch fritters appetizer Very nice pear salad w/blacken chicken along with the crab cakes. Very nice waiter Patrick

Citron Bistro is one of the best places to eat in Vero Beach. There is no ocean view but they make up for it with the atmosphere and the quality of their food. I had the open-faced chicken caprese and it was delicious!

The shrimp, salmon, and crab cakes were fishy. There is virtually no gluten free even though most of the sauces could easily use cornstarch instead of flour. My gluten free steak came with fried onions that had gluten which too at least 20 minutes to remake. The decor is great. Waiter was very pleasant. We won’t be going back although we’ve been there many times.

Unfortunately, I had the fish special and the fish was overcooked…My wife had the Steak (med rare) it came came out seared on the outside but rare on the inside. The portions were tiny at most…The service, although very polite and professional, didn’t check on our drinks or check on us when the food came out…We ate outside, beautiful evening, but the nats and flies were plenty…

Took my friend there for her birthday, and she was very happy with the atmosphere and dinner. We both had a special, which was halibut, and it was delicious, and my other friend had crusted samon, which was also delicious for dessert. We each had chocolate covered brownie with a scoop of ice cream it was to die for.

This bistro is so charming- perfect spot for a date night. Sit outside because the trees and lights are gorgeous. Would recommend the kale salad, wedge salad, salmon, and catch of the day (blackened is delicious!!). The filet and chicken were okay but not amazing. Gave 4 stars because on weekend nights they’re crazy busy and it takes awhile to get a server/food/etc but if you’re okay with the wait, it’s a fabulous experience!
