Came just before closing. The friers were off but they were willing to work with me so that I got the full value of my combo. I got the let Ciro sub and let me tell you, flavor overload. An absolute great taste. My husband got the Philly cheese steak special. Same thing. The Ciro salad was plentiful and the 1000 island tasted homemade. We also got a bbq chicken pizza which was amazing. I will definitely be back!

We have eaten at Ciro’s in Independence several times and always been more than pleased. Today, we tried Ciro’s in Galax, arriving about 11:30am. While the wait staff was friendly, and I realize they (like so many) are short staffed, the results pitiful. My wife ordered a lunch special stromboli & drink ($5.99 on the menu) and I ordered a small white pizza (I have trouble eating most marinara sauces) with sausage and a drink. After waiting 40 minutes and seeing later arriving customers get served first, we finally got our orders. WRONG. Mine was not a white pizza, but loaded with marinara sauce. Besides the excessive wait when the place was at less than 50% capacity, it was not as ordered. I told them we had no more time and paid for my wife’s and got a to go box. What was advertised as $5.99 plus tax came to $7.32?? I didn’t question that and did leave a couple bucks for the waitress as I don’t know where the fault arose. We were pushed for time, had appointments, then an hour drive back home arriving at 3pm. All this on a pack of nabs and coffee I had at 7:30am. Not a great day. Will possibly try again, but likely stick with the one in Independence and eat elsewhere in Galax. Hopefully this was out of character for this location.

Been a regular here since I moved to the area a few years ago and I’ve never regretted a single visit. Amazing pizza for an affordable price, incredibly friendly staff, and this place owns up to its mistakes and sets out to make them right. Once they gave my order to someone else by mistake, and they upgraded me from a small to a medium to show their sincerity. Best place in the Galax area to get pizza!

Best Pizza ever! Then we had the Chicken/Broccoli Alfredo and it had generous cream sauce, obviously freshly made. Plenty to split and so good. The servers were cheerful and attentive. We will make Ciro’s Pizza a stop whenever we are in town. If there is a wait, IT IS WORTH IT!!!
