The absolute best food, drinks, and service I have had in a very long time. The service industry has hit rock bottom in the past 2 years but this place has hit on every note. Anna, Alejandro, Mateo, and the Manager Sarah were by far the best I’ve encountered in years.

We ate today for the soft opening and every dish was fantastic! The portions were generous and we tried the Brussels sprouts and spinach salad for appetizer and the eggplant Parmesan sandwich and Italian flatbread for mains. The Brussels were addictive and nicely complemented by the blue cheese sauce without being over sauced. The spinach salad had a lot of flavor and ate like a meal on its own. The eggplant Parmesan sandwich was generous on the pesto which gave it a garlic bread like quality. The flatbread was crispy without being greasy which is much appreciated around the holidays and all the heavy food. We tried a mule from the bar with great ginger flavor and a zero alcohol concoction with grapefruit and rosemary. The wait staff was attentive and thoughtful. We would order all of these items again and looking forward to coming back!

Food was great, but service quickly went south and unsure why. Wife and I sat at the bar. Bartender was cool and we were respectful and engaging. Everything was great until we asked a different bartender for the bill. Then we got an eye roll from her. Confusing enough as we had asked for nothing after the food arrived and had nothing but good things to say about it when asked. When the original bartender brought the card and receipt, it was presented by tossing it on the bar with no eye contact and no words. Most confusing service we’ve ever received and outright rude.

We had a horrible experience from staff, to the wait, to the food. There is definitely miscommunication between staff, management and the kitchen. We ordered when it wasn’t busy and still had a 45minute wait for our food. Staff kept getting things wrong on our orders from drinks to appetizers and food but the waiter was very nice about it. I had to cancel my order because we went with an infant and she was growing inpatient (at least her food came out quick and she ate first). One of the orders had soggy shrimp and had to be returned. Overall, for the price it was a terrible experience. I hope they work on their communication amoungst each other because it was just a non pleasant experience.

When I say this food is decadent, I’m searching for an even elevated word!! Circa at The Boro was impeccable! My boyfriend and I went for the soft opening and was served by Amy. She was knowledgeable about the menu, had great descriptions for each dish and knew exactly what drink to pair with each dish. We had the Waygu sliders – hands down the BEST sliders I have had. They are perfectly balanced with juicy flavor, marinara sauce and some kind of pesto/guac sauce. The caesar salad was crisp and the dressing was made in house. Very creamy and delicious! Also, well balanced, the salad was not over dressed. We had the scallops and short rib for entrees. The scallops had the most perfect crust and sat on top of a bed of mushroom risotto. The risotto was a little under cooked – crunchy, but delicious all the same. The short rib came in a three level tower – mash potatoes, short rib, and topped with THIN fried onion rings. The meat was so soft, we could eat it with a spoon! No knife needed! We paired our entrees with the Old Fashioned drink which is served with a piece of rock ice. This is how bourbon should be served. The ice maintains its form therefore it doesn’t water down your drink. I was able to sip and enjoy over the course of 15 minutes and probably could have drug it out longer. I couldn’t…. It was the second best Old Fashioned I’ve had! We wrapped up the night with pumpkin cheesecake. It was light and had such a light flavor. There was nothing overbearing about it. The manager Rory was wonderful in conversation and making sure everything was just right. We even were able to meet the owner, Vince, who was also very nice and excited about the night. My boyfriend and I had just eaten out at another upscale restaurant the night before and Circa outperformed in every way! I am a life long patron of this restaurant group and this was only my first experience!

Purple Rain drink is delicious. The wagyu beef sliders, macaroni, scallops, and tuna nachos were all fantastic! The servers and bartenders were all super nice.

I really like Circa and was excited that they’re opening up here in Tysons. I went and tried the boro location yesterday and it was really great!! I love this location and the food better than the foggy Both tom location!! I highly recommend it!
