I have driven past this place without stopping for years. Finally stopped last week and I must say, we were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I both ordered from the Mexican options and my daughter got a burger. The burger was ok but the Mexican food was very good. And the prices were super reasonable. The Stagg was very friendly and the restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Better than diner food at diner prices. I will be back!

I’m from the Bay Area but whenever I’m in Oakdale I always make sure to stop at Cindy’s. It’s a family friendly and relaxed feel that is well worth the stop on the way somewhere or just as a place to eat and gather. The food always is very fresh and tasty and will almost always leave you impressed.

If you happen to be passing through Oakdale and are looking for a great & filling meal, this is the place. The Mexican food all across California is sensational and this restaurant is no exception – I ordered the Burrito Deluxe with chicken and it was a whopping behemoth of a meal that was not only very filling but extremely delicious! Our server was also fantastic, and although it was quite empty when we went, our food was nonetheless ready very quickly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, but especially people looking for a hearty meal returning from the parks after several days in the wilderness. If I ever find myself passing through Oakdale again, I will certainly be coming back.
