Good food and great service. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Chava was our server and he did a great job. The chips and salsa was so good. My son had a burrito and I had the chicken over rice and it was delicious. Nice atmosphere too. Check them out and you will be back.

1st time here, and really enjoyed the food. Chicken Caldo flavorful and plenty of shredded chicken. Queso Blanco, chips, half order shredded chicken nachos, good flavor. Had soft beef tacos, cheese and lettuce, side of rice, beans. Large flour tacos. Taco and enchilada choice of protein; beef, chicken, or cheese and onions. Beef taco and Cheese and Onion with red sauce delicious. All very good. Will return. Very low key vibe.

This is a busy, popular location. Indoor and outdoor seating with a comfortable atmosphere. The prices for the dishes are affordable, but the food is amazing! Great flavor! Parking though might be an issue. Like I said, it’s well known and liked!

Visited for the first time for a late lunch. We were greeted promptly. Menu choices were extensive and reasonably priced. I selected an enchilada entree with beef, which was ground beef. Tasty but would have liked sliced beef.

Loved this place! Cozy, super friendly and accommodating staff. Outdoor dining optional and awesome. Service is super quick and meals are easy to veganize. Their mojitos and margaritas are a must, not weak at all. My only complaint was the rice, it was flavorful but it was hard and dry almost like it was a little too old. The service was so great I didn’t even want to complain about the rice!

I’m saddened to write this . If I could give them 0 stars I would . We live a few blocks over and took an out of town friend in for some food and margaritas . We got seated . Waited 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and proceeded to order a pitcher of margaritas . 30 minutes later no margaritas . Our waiter apologized and took our order . We placed very simple orders nothing fancy . He walked away STILL no margaritas . Another 30 minutes and our food arrived and we were missing several food items we ordered and STILL no margaritas .No chips and salsa refills . More apologies . He finally made the food correct but it was very awkward and cold . He finally comes back and asked if we still wanted the margaritas UM NO . Why would we?!. He probably should have just comped it this point, but we just told him to take it off the bill WHICH NEVER ARRIVED . My husband had to go track someone down to find our bill and when he got it they had charged us for not 1 but 2 pitchers of margaritas that we never even saw . For a weeknight meal that is supposed to be a stress free easy thing this experience was like pulling teeth . I’m from this neighborhood and we will not be back .

We placed a catering order for my son’s graduation and they did not provide me with everything we ordered for 50 people and my order was not made correctly. I paid $446.54. We were missing several things and they mixed my chicken and steak fajitas together when it was supposed to be separate. Do not have them cater. The can’t handle it. You will not get everything you pay for.

The food and service at the East Nashville Cinco has really gone down hill over the years. When we first moved to Nashville this was our favorite Mexican restaurant — the red sauce for the enchiladas del norte was thick, salty, and delicious almost like a mole. Now? It’s so watered down you have to order extra just to taste anything. But the service…that’s what I’m really disappointed about. This evening we brought family from out of town. And when we asked for a photo on our way out? The host flat out responded “NO.” Seriously? We just ate here, and you can’t take our picture? He then scurried away to talk smack about us with the other employees at the back of the house because we wanted to “tomar una foto.” Yeah, cabr*n, yo hablo español tambien. Ultimately, I requested a photo from another patron who pleasantly obliged. Perhaps I should have left him the $25 tip for our meal instead…
