When we got there we ordered our drinks and did not get what we ordered. We ordered a jarritos Mexican coke and got a regular coke. They did not even tell us about the change. We order and half of our food came out cold. They even forgot half of our order. The employe who was serving us was not very nice ether. And as we were finishing our meal they did not even take away our dishes. The tacos we order also had way too much meat in them. The beans and rice were slightly bland and not up to the standard. I don’t think I will be returning soon.

Great food, and exactly what I expected. Service was great, and we were well taken care of. Get a pitcher of Margarita, the Acapulco, and choriqueso dip. Then walk across the street and play retro video games!

I found this well known Mexican restaurant in Rockford MI to continue its food menu expansion. The grilled chicken salad was delicious. The presentation on a seasoned large grilled tortilla was eye popping as well. The manager even broke out a new keg of DOS XX beer for our table. The Tapped keg filled up our 32 oz. ice chilled glass steins was quickly delivered to our table of four as well. Great service .

Just ok convenient food. Got take out and was charged a take out “fee”. Seems a bit odd as I didn’t see anything noting a take out fee and what that was actually for. You get chips and salsa for free when you sit down and dine in but not take out orders based on what the lady said this evening. 2 soft shell tacos for $10 so a bit on the expensive side compared to some other local Mexican restaurants.

We ordered our dinners, after taking one bite of mine, it was to spicy for me. Flag the waiter down, told him my meal was too spicy, he offered me to choose a different meal. The second meal was fine. When the bill came, he said you need to pay for the first meal and was that ok? I told him never heard of such a thing. I didn’t eat the first meal, only took one bite. His response was, “we had to use our product.” He took the bill and had it taken off. We ordered another basket of chips and changed both of us.

Are you looking for a stress free dinner out with young kids? This is NOT the place to go! After waiting for a table, we were seated and our toddler got his meal rather quickly. After waiting for another half an hour, our waiter brought us the check even though my husband and I didn’t even have our meals yet. Finally, our meals arrived and as I dug in, I was “delighted” to find a GIANT hair in my sour cream! I requested to speak with the manager and after telling her I would not be paying for this meal and explaining why, she offered no apologies and only said, “I’ll add your name to the list!” Wow. Disgusted!

Service wasn’t the greatest, but the food was AMAZING!! Prices are a bit steep but.. Overall experience wasn’t too bad but it could have been better. They do add a 3% charge if you pay with card and not cash(Didn’t know that until we got our bill, and didn’t see a little 3×5 card stating it until we paid our bill at the register). Not sure if we’ll come back because of overall experience.
