This restaurant is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the SoNo strip. The interior design is incredible, food is delicious – especially the lobster ravioli. Only thing I would change is get rid of the russian vodka all over the walls. Owner was very friendly!

When for dinner, newly open their door. Ambience is very good, contemporary decor with open kitchen. FOH service was very attentive, courteous and friendly.

Stopped here for cocktails after a dinner nearby in Norwalk. Can’t attest to the food, but the drinks were great. Very nice, upscale bar area. Felt more like SoHo in NYC than coastal CT. Great to see this kind of place in the area. Will try the food next time but definitely worth stopping in for the atmosphere.

Ordered a couple of appetizers at the bar. Unfortunately the food was not good. Service was great but we were bummed out since the food was not up to par.

I went to a birthday dinner , and I was HIGHLY disappointed. I’m not sure if they’re not used to serving a bigger party, or maybe it was because we had a reservation for later in the day, and they were closing and didn’t feel like giving good service. This was everybody’s first time at this restaurant, we’ve all heard so much about it we were all excited to come. It ended up being thee worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. we had a party of about 20 people, NOT ONE PERSON LEFT SATISFIED !! majority of everyone gave their food back, said it was cold, or raw, burnt or even unseasoned. instead of them accepting that we just didn’t want our plates, they tried to push other meals on us, which kind of made us upset because we stated that we don’t want anything else and how disgusted and disappointed we all were. not only the food was bad the service was horrible !! the food took FOREVER to come, and most of the complaints were that it was cold !!! they did not take off the plates we gave back off of the receipt, instead decided to take some of the meals off and leave some on the receipt. which we thought was very unfair, especially when most people left dissatisfied!! The server continued to argue with all of us, mind you this was a birthday dinner that we had planned for months in advance. now like I said in the beginning I’m not sure if they’re used to catering to big parties, or maybe because it was a 8pm reservation and no everyone didn’t show up on time however we were told the kitchen closes at 11pm everyone had orders in by 9pm, I’ve worked in plenty of kitchens, if the kitchen does not close until 11pm there is no reason why the food was coming out with bad quality !!! I honestly can’t believe we had to endure this, some went to other restaurant, the birthday girls day was ruined. it was just bad. maybe just maybe if we had an earlier reservation I would have a different review however it doesn’t matter when we arrive, the service and the food should be the same quality throughout the whole day. not only was I disappointed but so was everyone else!!!

I am happy I did not read the reviews before coming here because I may have not come. The service was wonderful, very attentive from the moment we stepped in. I really enjoyed that food was not rushed, we had time to enjoy our appetizers before our dinner was served. We had the fried polenta which I thought was amazing and my partner enjoyed the fig Flatbread even more. For dinner we had lobster ravioli and added pan fried salmon and it was delicious and I ordered Rigatoni a la vodka and that too was delicious. The food was piping hot and plentiful.

I wood say this is an open concept style dining atmosphere. They are the new men on the block so they still want to get things write. Sauces on the food hits. On the weekend you can go to an after party they make it a club vibe. I will be back for a further review in the future

Wow we were impressed, from the food to the cocktails to the service even the atmosphere. Nothing was lacking. Especially to be in the heart of Sono . You have to have to be able to offer a vibe . And Ciao nailed it First off the location is cool , you have all open windows and the back dinning room walls actually change colors. The cocktail list was unique , I tried several but my favorite strawberry cucumber basil martini , you can taste the fresh strawberries. We tried several apps sautéed calamari, fried artichokes and butternut squash gnocchi ( that was def a first and I can tell you right now a Must try ) entrees seafood fra Diablo and sliced Ny strip with peppercorn sauce ( each was a special ) but on the menu there was a nice variety to choose from . After 10:00 on the weekends I believe there’s dj / music ,at that point it got real busy but the bartenders were on their toes . We skipped desserts but the after dinner espresso and espresso martinis were Perfect. You know that’s just as important to make a good espresso martini takes a bit of skill . Kudos to the bartenders Being open only a few months and having everything run smoothly is A+ A real nice addition to Sono and We can’t wait to go back 🙂 If you’re reading this GO

Went here last night for dinner with 4 friends and a friends 6 year old. The staff including our amazing server Edwin was very friendly and engaging even with the 6 year old and made her a fancy lemonade with cherries and strawberries. We started the night with apps which were Fig Bruschetta, Fried Mozzarella & Brussels which were all amazing. Then we each got out own dinner and not one complaint from the table it was very enjoyable and service was again just amazing! They came out and sang for my friends birthday and gave us a tiramisu dessert on the house. I forgot to take pictures but next time will!
