Great tacos and BBQ! We were camping at Lake Mineral Wells and saw this place on the side of the highway and had to make a stop for lunch. We ordered a taco plate and 2 meat plate that comes with 2 sides which was a whole lot of food. The brisket was delicious as well as their charro beans.

I got spliced brisket very tender but dry, not much smoke flavor. BBQ sauce was just ok. Mac n cheese is box not homemade, beans were pretty good.

Being raised on home cooked meals mostly Mexican food. It’s hard to find places that actually offer the authentic taste they claim. This is by far one of the best places I have been for breakfast burritos. The tortillas are handmade. The brisket was tender and soft. Not dry at all. The papas were cooked just like grandma used to make. The burritos (the Chuy’s rustic) were larger than I expected and we’ll stuffed. I will be making a 45 minute drive more often just to come grab a plate from here!

I’ve gone here twice now. Once for their Cowboy burrito (I think it’s called that) and this morning for their breakfast burritos. Both were absolutely fantastic! The staff is always friendly & super knowledgeable & answer all the questions. They always have great music playing. It’s a small, local business, but great atmosphere. I absolutely love this place, and I just moved closer to it!

Good tacos, good ribs. Decent prices. Great tea. Colleague had the brisket – looked tasty. Rib meat fell off the bone. Taco had great flavor – nothing crazy – big portions on the taco.
