Aloha: so it’s been over 30 yrs since I had Churches and well it was a little disappointing. The chicken is good for sure but not very crispy.. the mask potatoes were really good but the slaw is not that great. The place felt kinda dingy… but the service was awesome and super nice.

I normally get very good fried chicken from here, but not tonight. Tonight I ordered 10 pieces of chicken, and when I got home, what I found inside the box disappointed me to the extreme. 10 pieces of burnt, dry chicken, overcooked in oil that should have been replaced for fresh oil a week ago, but instead they clearly kept filtering it long past its useful lifespan.

I’ve updated this review to knock off a star since on my last visit I walked in and waited while the 4 visible workers ignored me. Instead, they had to call the person on the register to come up and take orders. He took his time which resulted in this being the longest I have waited to be served in a ‘fast food’ restaurant. Urgency was not in the clerk’s vocabulary. Food quality on this visit was also substantially worse as the products seemed to have been warming to long and no longer seemed fresh, but instead bread was staler and dry. Fried okra was also a bit soggy.

This is the second Sunday in a row where me and my mom tried to go and eat at Church’s after church like we always do but they say that their internet is always not working so I cannot use my EBT card! This is very unprofessional can’t even keep their Internet working in order to process the EBT card… Might as well take down the sign on the front door that says we accept EBT here!! Or finally fix your Internet or something !
