One of my favorite places when in Alabama. That fried okra is a must have, that honey biscuit will have you wanting more, the spicy rice is on the money and the chicken is fried to golden deliciousness.

Horrible service! We went through the drive-thru and waited for over 15 minutes. When we first got to the drive-through the lady asked me to wait just a moment. I told her I would wait. That is when we waited for over 15 minutes. I spoke in the speaker a couple of times trying to get her attention but she said nothing. So I get aggravated and decide to drive around to the window. As soon as I’m driving off I hear her trying to take the lady behind me order. I get to the window and hear her talking to that lady who was behind me and find out there are no tenders. So I ask the lady if they were out of tenders and she said yes they were out of the flower that they better them in. She also said her speaker was not working. If that was the case why didn’t they send someone outside to tell us to pull around so we wouldn’t have to wait so long. We decided to go to Burger King. This is not the first time this has happened. Every time we go to Church’s Chicken it seems like we wait forever in line.

Ordered 3 piece tender strip combo with okra it was cold! No excuse at was peak dinner hour. Food should have been a bit more fresh. Had to wait anyway for husbands country steak and that was all jammed up! The cooks had put the paper cover food under the order and paper was shredded under his food. We came home made a sandwich! Atmore Churches OFF our fast food list for good!

I have to let people know that the service is slow as Christmas. I literally waited an hour for a 12 piece family meal that I was told would only be 15 minutes. The only staff that was friendly was a young high school age girl working the register. Management was loud and over bossy to workers which probably had part in the delay. The drive thru line had at least 10 cars wrapped around the parking lot. People had to pull over to the side and wait for orders as well. What makes matters worse is that my chicken was not thoroughly cooked.

I absolutely hate this place. They are very rude and short with you. The cash register is by the drive through window but the credit card machine is located at front counter, the cashier ran my card then proceeded to walk in back kitchen area with my card in her hand. I started blowing my horn and trying to get someones attention. She actually got mad at me for making her bring my card back to me. All I could imagine was she maybe taking a picture or writing down numbers on my card. I didn’t accuse her but made her bring the card straight back to me.

The employees (young girls) are ghetto, unprofessional, little hood rats. They appear ignorant and uneducated. They have nasty attitudes, and are very disrespectful. Especially, the female supervisor who returned to Churches, roughly a little over a month ago. These young girls act as though they are indispensable. One was actually on her cell phone taking a call, while working the drive thru window. This location was previously shut down because they couldn’t pass inspection and then reopened. It should’ve remained closed.l becuase it’s a dump. They false advertise the items they sell and refuse to honor posted prices. The owner of this Churches should reevaluate his/her employees and hire individuals who are pleasant and customers focused. Otherwise, those hood rats will be the demise of his/her Franchise.

Just like KFC in Atmore, how is this place still open? The cleanliness, well, it just isn’t there at all. Each time we order through the drive-thru, we have to pull up and wait a minimum of 20 minutes for our order. Last time I was here, I ordered a 3 piece tender with macaroni and cheese. I drove home and opened my food container to find that I had paid over $7 for 3 tenders that were about 3″ long and my macaroni and cheese was like the size of a teaspoon. Very disappointed! (Yeah, maybe I should’ve checked before leaving.) Although, I have to say that the staff is usually very nice and helpful. (Only reason I didn’t give it 1 star.)

I went to buy the $15 family meal deal. I was told I could not substitute the cole slaw. So I asked about the $20 meal deal. She said yes you can substitute on that one but we don’t have mac n cheese or fries. So I order 2 mashed potatoes cause the options I wanted weren’t available. I ask for hot sauce and honey. I get home no hot sauce or honey. The biscuits were soggy and flat and nasty. No mashed potatoes just slaw which I specifically ordered a meal $5 more to get a different choice. I then look for my receipt to locate a number I didn’t receive one. I then try to call them off the number online and it rings until a long squeal at the end like a fax machine. My first visit there and defiantly my last.

First it was 88 degrees inside. HOT second stood there for about 10 minutes before i was even acknowledged. Third i ordered 2 sides i only got 1. It was burnt and so dried out mac and cheese it wasnt ediable. The workers look hot tired and aggravated. Worst service o seriously ever seen.

Yesterday I saw your new advertisement for your garlic shrimp!!! I had to try it! I will never go to David’s catfish for shrimp again. Atmore Churches has the BEST garlic shrimp I’ve ever had!!!! Keep it on your menu please and your staff is also keepers!!! Thank you so much!!!!
