My fiance and I’s first time experiencing Chuck’s Fish. We got here shortly before they started to get busy and our server was Amanda. The food was spectacular, great wine, and our server was phenomenal! Can’t believe we haven’t been here sooner!

Food was great! Service was awesome! My friends and I ordered several sushi rolls and appetizers. The Spring Rolls were good (a little greasy, but good). I ordered the Red Light Special (a little spicy, but delightful)! The Backdown roll was good as well. Both if these rolls were around $20. We had maybe 8 to10 pieces per roll. I was pleased! The blondie dessert was good as well! I would definitely return.

I’ve been here twice so far, the first time was a much better experience. The food is pretty good, especially the Truffle fries, Kimchi Brussels & the sushi rolls we’ve ordered. The only thing they slightly lack on is the service. My first experience was awesome overall but the second, it was disappointing. Everything took too long and when we needed our server, she could never be found. Hopefully that’s something they’ll work on. Other than this, the food is pretty good.

Last night we had reservations for 10 people and everything seemed to be going smoothly until the waitress forgot about our appetizer and only came to refill our waters one time. On top of that we waited quite some time for our food. Most of our party ordered sushi and a couple ordered pasta. The manager came by and told us that the sushi chefs were a little backed up which would have been acceptable if we hadn’t been sitting in front of the sushi counter and realized that couldn’t have been the case when they were back there laughing and carrying on with the servers. They didn’t seem to be backed up at all. In fact the birthday couple at our table watched their sushi sit on the counter for 10 minutes before anyone brought it to the table. Not acceptable!! The sushi finally came to the table and following that was the 2 pasta dishes that had obviously been ready for a little while because they were both lukewarm. Also I DO NOT like mushrooms which I requested to be left out of my shrimp and chorizo pasta but they put them in there anyway. If the food hadn’t taken forever in the first place and if the waitress would’ve come back to do a quality check then I might would’ve had it recooked. Everyone at the table is in the service industry so we felt bad for not tipping more than the 18% gratuity but our overall experience should’ve been better for a more upscale restaurant.

Amazing. My husband got the catch of the day which was red grouper, grilled with crawfish sauce and a Gouda grit cake. He loved it. I got the Dauphin sushi roll and we both agreed it was out of this world. After sharing a piece of my sushi roll with him, he even requested a second haha! The happy hour drinks were excellent as well. Next time we’re in the area, we’d love to come back!

I was disappointed, I made reservations arrived 5min early the rude hostess said you can’t come in yet. She could have said it nicely. We order and wait over thirty minutes for my lukewarm food. The Brussels sprout are hard as rocks. One of our guess ask for side of jalapeños the waitress kept asking are you sure WHAT give the customer what they ask for. I was very disappointed at the food and the service. The only one that treated us with respect that a paying customer deserves was the porter. Shame on you management and staff

Too many tables in a small space. The gumbo was horrible it was so thick it was like gravy. I’m from Texas and we don’t eat like y’all. Our restaurants are spacious without everyone sitting on top of each other. The shrimp were small and didn’t taste fresh. I hate frozen fries, they were hard. Overall not a fan

Popular place, even on a Monday night need a reservation. Having tried many gumbo soups throughout town, this one was a bit salty. Spicy tuna roll was significantly overpriced for the quantity. Might give it a second chance. Downtown location is a plus – probably drives prices. Excellent staff.

Our first time here. It was pretty good. Bar atmosphere and even though we went later in the evening it was still not too loud and we were able to have an intimate dinner. It was a nice little tucked away place. The food was good, as was the service. The place was clean and comfortable. The other patrons were friendly and content as well. We will certainly visit here again. The dessert was my favorite. It was a pecan brown sugar brownie a la mode. I think it was called a brownie. I don’t remember but it was so so truly worth a drive downtown for sure!
