As a tourist, I have no idea why I end up eating Burch here. Probably I was looking for all-day breakfast at very late morning. But surprisingly, their food is good.

The food here is really good! You don’t need to play at the arcade or bowling alley to eat here. You can order online or via phone,. although you have to pre-pay phone orders over $50. Food is hot and packaged really well for to-go orders. Kalua pork was really good.

So happy I looked for a place the locals go to eat. Chubby’s Dinner is located in a very alive bowling alley. The atmosphere is fun and the food was excellent. I tried both the Fish and Chips as well as the Kahlua Pork and Cabbage with rice and house Mac.

My wife and I arrived in Kona and after getting a rental car, it was already past 8pm. I had done my research previously, and I decided to order to-go here because of its rating and menu choices. I didn’t realize this place was at a bowling place and that it wasn’t very easy to find. Although a Thursday night, it was quite busy. There were fewer than 10 tables and they were all taken. Only one waitress/cashier was working so I felt bad for her.

Last day on the island and wanted to really eat where the locals go. It’s not fancy by any means. It’s in a bowling alley and arcade. But the food was exactly what we hoped it would be. Char Siu Fried Saimin was really good and so was the Teriyaki steak and Loco Moco. Go for the food, not the ambience.

Its a bowling alley restaurant. Surprisingly with a large menu. Avocado fries were super greasy and heavily battered. Ribs extra fatty. Local hangout for sure.

We were in the mood for diner food for lunch, found this on Google Maps, and…whoa. Not a traditional stateside diner, but a Hawaiian restaurant inside a bowling alley and arcade. You order at the counter from a HUGE menu and they bring your food to your table. I got fish & chips; my husband got pot roast & veggies with rice. As you can see from the photo, the portions are huge–we took half of it home. If you’re not familiar with Hawaiian food, most of the menu will be hard to understand – there are no descriptions, just the names of the dishes. Prices are reasonable for the islands. Tip: the tables near the entrance are quiet, especially on a weekday at lunchtime. We really enjoyed our lunch. Highly recommended.

We didn’t know that this place was more a bowling alley than restaurant when we looked online, so we were surprised by how DELICIOUS the food was! Not only was the food delicious, but the portions were huge and the price was right!

We stopped by for late lunch. This place is located inside the entertainment center where you can play games, but we were there for the food.
