AMAZING authentic food ! The people that left the reviews about long wait times, must never eat out much because the staff here were very efficient, extremely friendly, and very in tune with their customers. After we ordered the sticky chicken and the barbecue piggy mac, Hawaiian style… The owner himself came out to check on us & our order along with his wife… Very friendly easy to talk to people. The ambience is spot on, a very Hawaiian feel with great decor. they even have live music on the weekends. definitely will be returning and a definite must if you’re looking for something different with high-quality food.

Food was good but sadly was not what I had anticipated. I have been to Hawaii multiple times and it just didn’t quite meet my expectations. I will return because the food was good. Service was ok as no one came to check and see if the food came out alright. Atmosphere was fun and I love the decor.

Tried this place out for the first time today. It is a fast casual type service and works out very well. After I sat down to wait on my food, they brought me out some chips and salsa that was very good. A few minutes later, the Pork Kalua Platter came out. The flavor was very good especially with the bbq sauce. Service was prompt and everyone was very nice. Thanks!

This place was absolutely phenomenal!! They have a mix of Hawaiian food and American food. The owner and his family were so welcoming. I will be back and continue to support this local business! I suggest you go as well.

A unique place to eat for our area of Ohio. The island atmosphere was different and the kids thought it was pretty cool. The best part of our visit was the food. The boy’s got sticky chicken and I got the smoked pork butt. Both were delicious and we couldn’t finish our sides after eating our plate. If you like trying different cuisines this is great place to eat.

Went with a group of 4 people, atmosphere was very comfortable with Hawaiian Decor and a cool stage for performances! Service was fast/friendly and the Sticky Chicken and Pork Sliders were very good! For a New Restaurant this is really impressive and can’t wait to watch it grow! Great addition to Baltimore and we will definitely return ASAP and try some Bang Bang Shrimp and Steak Tacos!

Just ate at the Chubby Hawaiian today for the first time, and we will definitely be back! The food was delicious, and my wife said that the pulled pork was the best she has ever had! Enjoyed talking with the owner and his friendly staff. A wonderful experience!

They had a few bugs to work out tonight and while I appreciated the occasional verbal announcements about it I think customers should be told before they place their order to decide whether they want to wait. I also didn’t see a sign labeling the carry out station which would be helpful. I waited an hour and 15 minutes for my 3 entrees and extra side. I took my meal to go and I left only to find they didn’t include my extra side and I had to come all the way back to get it. I wasn’t terribly upset about the time because they are only a week old and both the lack of employees and problems with their tickets seemed beyond their control. The food-the meat/sauce on each entree we got (and rice) were really good. The sides-mac and cheese, slaw, and mac salad, VERY average, or maybe even below average. Not NEARLY the flavor put in as the main meal itself. Glad to see the mac was homemade just every side needed a little something extra. More creaminess or salt or something in the mac, I didn’t taste ANY pineapple in the slaw, the mac salad was probably the worst of the three with NO flavor at ALL. No salt, no sweet, don’t know how that’s possible. Hopefully this was just the fact that they lost two cooks tonight and were making stuff in a hurry. We won’t make an effort to go back unless I’m in the area and it’s been some time so they have had awhile to work some kinks out. Atmosphere reasonable, staff REALLY nice.

Had a small family celebration last weekend at The Chubby Hawaiian and have to give a hearty 5 Stars to our visit. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. We were not sure what to order, so we ordered a bit of everything. It was all very good, and our small group was full and very pleased that we made the drive from Columbus. Can’t wait for our next trip so that I can get the Sticky Chicken again! (my favorite)
