We got a small deep dish veggie pizza, a small round pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni, and breadsticks. This was a last-minute choice to try somewhere different for pizza, and we were so glad we did. Chubby Charlie’s might just tie for our top pizza place.

Pickle pizza is amazing! The garlic sauce they put on it is delicious. I’ve also tried their wings and cheese bread- both were great! I’ve liked everything I’ve tried from here. I drive 30 minutes for it and it’s worth it.

Food was hit or miss. Maybe just a bad night or understaffed? All the pizzas seemed to be very light on cheese. We were missing 3 items from our order even though the receipt had checkmarks next to each item and I asked when I picked the order up that we got all sauces and food. Sure enough I got home and several items missing including a whole order of breadsticks and two sauces that we paid extra for.

The Cheese
This particular store is hit and miss, but when they hit, it can be great. My last order was the Pretzel pizza with extra sauce, I ordered extra sauce because it tends to be dry if not. It was perfect. I also ordered Chubby bread, and a pepperoni stromboli added extra cheese, onion, and green pepper with ranch to dip. I also like their Philly stromboli, I add green peppers because they don’t come with them. The Greek dressing is ok. The regular pizza options are ok. Their sauce is meh. The wings are not too good. The salads are pretty good, and their ranch is also pretty good. All in all, they’re a pretty average alright pizza spot. Honestly, I only order Chubby Charlies when I miss Little Cesar’s pretzel pizza. The Stromboli is just in case the pizza isn’t good. Their Stromboli is consistent. It’s not remarkable or even really good. It’s just good and a safe backup. As stated in the beginning, there have been times when they were really good, but it’s not often.

This place is incredible! First time here and I definitely will come back! The price was worth it for two medium pizzas gluten and dairy free. If you’ve never been here you’re truly missing out! Forget Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, and Domino’s, Chubby Charlie’s is the place to go from here on out!

Chubby Charlie’s is always delicious, every single time. Their stromboli is the perfect size and price for a date night dinner and their dipping sauces (we’ve tried the ranch, garlic cheese dip, and pizza sauce) are always just as good as the food.
