We ordered the stuffed pepper and fried chicken. The chicken was amazing. The pepper was okay. But I will definitely be back. The service was great and the prices wasn’t bad. The plates were about 11$ a piece. Sometimes it can get really busy, but the chicken is worth the wait.

A late lunch post. Ever on the run and need a home cooked meal downtown? Don’t forget about Christina’s. I had the fried pork chop with greens, red beans and eggplant.

So, I drove from Houston to Pensacola today and I stopped in Baton Rouge for lunch. I walk in, take a leak, and then I go to sit at the counter, which was right by the window and I could see I to the kitchen.

I loved the atmosphere as soon as I walked in. Christina’s doesn’t look too special on the outside, but there are some great people hard at work in it! We ordered breakfast, chicken friend steak and grilled pork chop. I’d pass on the grits though. Pretty sure they’re not homemade. Other than that, this place is certainly worth the visit.

Christina’s was easy to find with google. I arrived at opening so there was no wait. I was greeted by friendly staff. I picked my table. Annie was my server and is cordial. I ordered two eggs scrambled, grits, bacon with wheat toast. I must say, this is my second visit to Christina’s and the food is still DELICIOUS !!! Everytime I am in Baton Rouge, I will dine here.

Great little breakfast spot in Baton Rouge. The staff were so welcoming and the service was great! We ordered omlette, french toast, eggs, and all the sides.

Good service, mediocre food with ridiculous prices. I got two eggs four pieces of what was supposed to be bacon, two burnt pancakes and hash browns with a cup of coffee for an incredible value of $17. For the quality of the food it is an egregious violation of my wallet. The wait staff is friendly and attentive but it is honestly just not worth it. I used to come here quite a bit because of its proximity to work but lacks the value.

The Monday lunch special of red beans & rice with sausage is as good as it gets. On Fridays you need to get the Catfish Annie special before they run out.

Great service. All workers are superb. Coffee hit the spot! Breakfast however fell a lil short. Was pretty basic. Bacon n sausage was crispy (just not our personal taste). Hash brows were soggier than preferred and over medium eggs were made over easy. French toast was actually my favorite! Overall I would go back to try my luck with something else in the menu. The customer service alone makes it worth while
