The other day I ordered, Chris’s Texas Weiner South Orange, for lunch. I ordered their, Philly Cheesesteak Wrap, and man was it a real treat! Loved the accent of the pickle and the flavor of the coleslaw. The Philly Cheesesteak Wrap was fairly salty tasting, but very good all the same. The cheese negated the salty flavor in a way. Did not expect it to come with fries. Not a huge fry person, but ate all of them. The fries complimented the Philly Cheesesteak Wrap greatly. I usually would order breakfast items from, Chris’s, but so happy I got their lunch. My typical daily breakfast combo for Chris’s is their Taylor Ham, Egg, & Cheese, on a roll. With their Chicken Noodle Soup as the side! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I would HIGHLY recommend, Chris’s Texas Weiner South Orange, to anyone in the, South Orange, area looking for some excellent lunch food, AND/OR their breakfast items!

I love this diner. I live close by and I’ve been coming for years, and I’ve officially become a regular. Maria is such a sweetheart, and Jenna will ask after my wife and remember that I like my fries well done even if I forget to ask. It’s a cozy, comfortable place with no pretensions. It’s a small local diner with good coffee, hearty portions, and reasonable prices.

I had an absolute blast at Chris’s Texas Wiener Family Restaurant! The food was delicious (I highly recommend the chili cheese fries), but what really made the experience was the lively atmosphere. The staff were all so friendly and fun, and the decor was full of quirky, vintage charm. I felt like I was transported back in time to a 1950s diner. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a fun hangout spot with friends, Chris’s is the place to be.

I love this diner. I eat here with my family a few times a month. A couple of my friends are regulars too. The food is excellent and the service is usually great depending on who you get. There is one server there who is nice to customers, but nasty to the other staff. Every time I go there since she started a few months ago, she is always arguing with someone. Either the cook, the other servers, or the owners. Then she plays victim says everyone is picking on her though no one actually is. She even discusses her arguments she has with other staff with customers! She is unprofessional. No one else argues there and I have been going there for years. She is definitely the problem!!! I want to relax and enjoy the meal I purchased. Not listen to a server argue with then complain about her coworkers.

I ordered steak and eggs. Medium rare and over easy. The eggs were over easy but the steak was medium well close to well done. No one came back to the table to check on me or ask how everything is. I paid and left. I will never back. Horrible service.
