I’ve been coming to Chow’s for years and it’s always a great treat! The wait staff are always attentive and friendly and the food is consistently delicious. We normally order the same things, though have tried many of the items on their vast menu. The walnut shrimp and beef and broccoli are the 2 staples that I would recommend. The egg rolls and chicken low mein are also very good but their pot stickers are awesome! The garlic chili oil that comes with them is delicious and really elevates the flavor of the pot stickers. Rice may be an extra charge so ask before ordering, as they ask you if you want it as you order.

This was such a spectacular lunch, I love Chows. The Pad Thai is otherworldly! The Lo Mein was also perfectly made and seasoned, I still think about the garlic noodles. We had tempura and crab wantons as appetizers. The tempura needs that delectable sauce it comes with. The wanton sauce has ginger so it is really potent. Our server was kind, friendly, and helpful. I will definitely comeback and I wish they were on DoorDash.

My favorite restaurant in all of Santa Fe. They treat everyone like family. When I pick up my dinner, I see the restaurant full of people laughing and enjoying themselves. It seems as though they know everyone personally. The food is exceptional. The finest quality vegetables and ingredients. The portions are huge and the presentation is exquisite. The restaurant is under new ownership and has only improved. I recommend it highly!!

I’m being very sincere when I say everything I’ve tried so far is delicious. The people at Chow’s are always really nice, even when it’s busy, and the atmosphere is pleasant. I just had the sesame chicken, which tasted amazing, and it’s my new favorite. Try the menu for yourself. I think you’ll agree with my review.

I love Chow’s. Coffee chicken is the best thing on their menu. It is always consistently delicious. Crispy fried tofu is so good too. Eat here!!! You’ll be glad you did.

Quality of food was generally good. My spicey chicken had approximately 3/4 cup of chili peppers, so couldn’t taste the food until I took peppers out. And I eat really hot peppers, for reference. Another of our orders was snap peas and chicken, we received snap peas and tofu. Regrettable experience compared to past orders.

I was excited to try this place on a recommendation from a local friend, so I went there Sunday night, January 2, 2022. The food was pretty good, but a few things probably need attention:

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It had excellent food. Although, as good as it was…the waitress was horrible. She kept forgetting everything, being passive aggressive, and just overall was terrible. Be warned: nothing comes with rice, it’s all just dishes without sides. My favorite comment was “Turns out not everyone likes rice, so nothing comes with rice”. Ok? It was just weird. The whole thing rubbed me a wrong way.

I’m not a fan of Chinese food. I went with a friend to meet for her birthday. They didn’t have any salad items. However, it was the day after 4th July do they may not have received all their ingredients. We had dessert, which was great.

Perfectly fried tofu. From there, downhill: crispy calamari was downright soggy. Peanut sauce was inedible: mostly some kind of snotty texture matter (flour roux or corn starch?). Pork buns obviously from frozen. Plum wine crazy sweet, even for plum wine. Dude waiter greeted neighbor as sweetie, I figured they were friends then she asked where the bathroom was… Santa Fe needs a great Chinese restaurant! This (still) isn’t it.
