This place is located in South Center Mall across from Jollibee. They have a pretty interesting menu with a range of Asian food. I was curious and wanted to try some of their baos. I tried the meaty asado and bola-bola siopa. The exterior was nice and soft, and interior was ok. I felt like there wasn’t much flavor to the bola-bola one. The person taking my order was very friendly.

The portions were alright, but as you can see in the photos it did not look appetizing at all. And for $45 there are other better options in the mall. The food was decently hot when we received it, however the noodles were very greasy and weren’t very tasty. The chicken was the worst part, i couldn’t even finish one piece as it was tasteless and dry. Definitely not going to return here.

We stopped by for lunch and it was pretty good. The prices were right the food was tasty and the service was fast. The store was also very clean and they were very courteous. We did not go during the Rush time so things went really well for us.

Chowking is probably my second-favorite stop in the Filipino food court of the Southcenter mall. I feel like their foods are somewhat hit-and-miss. I think that their soups and dim sum are excellent, especially the mami. I crave it very often in my life. As for desserts, I tried their taho for the first time and it wasn’t my favorite. They have a decent halo halo. The interior is a bit cleaner than the other Filipino restaurants in the area, from my experience. Service is pretty decent too.

I don’t recommend the halo halo here, I would rather call it crushed ice with a little bit of ice cream and the service is meh

There is no chowfan (too bad) and siomai flavour was different. But the lauriat was great! Love the chicken.

Pricey for small portions. Seating area is too tight to sit comfortably.

One of the best Filipino fast food places in the area! I grew up eating at Chow King and this place definitely does not disappoint! The halo-halo is my family and I’s favorite!

$9.00 for a skimpy bowl of salty beef soup. We waited and got a table. Asian fast food when you don’t have time for anything better.
