Laid back spot in Ghent area of Norfolk. My wife & I went here on a Saturday night and were met with a friendly greeting from the hostess. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the spicy clams and they were great. My wife had the chicken & sweet potato pancake and she was very pleased with every thing. I had the blackened salmon w/collard greens and green beans. Thought I was eating at a family function they were so good. For dessert I tried the hummingbird cake and it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Went here the night before Mothers Day for dinner around 9pm and there was no one there. Which was great! My husband, me and our 2 kids had a great time. The service was great and our dinners were amazing. Got fried green tomatoes for a starter and they were good, not the best I ever had but good. The ham salad thing that came with it was odd to me, very salty. But our dinners were delicious. I got country fried steak and my husband got a chili cheese burger special. Definitely will be back again!

Great place! Came here for brunch based on the recommendation of a friend, and loved it! The service was very friendly and the food was amazing. The Bloody Mary was superb (nicely garnished with a lime, some olives, and a piece of bacon!) and the PB&J French toast is now my new favorite brunch item of all time. I’ll be back soon!

Went back for another, the best burger in Hampton Roads. The fried green tomatoes are outstanding! Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. There is plenty to choose from, from the menu. Always end up leaving not being able to indulge in dessert, just to full. And a doggy bag in tote

Absolutely outstanding! The fried oysters we’re everything I’d want fried oysters to be. The homemade balsamic vinaigrette is a lot better than what’s in the store. The brussel sprouts are the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I was very happy that the cornbread was fancy, instead of plain old cornbread.
