This afternoon we happened to be out in Gretna at lunchtime. As usual, I looked for somewhere we had not been. I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant and I’ve finally found it. This is a true hit. The food is very good, and actually the best I’ve had since moving to New Orleans. The service is what you expect, and the restrooms need a goog cleaning.

Dined there again today and the food is excellent as usual. Still utilizing plastic forks but now knives and spoons are available. Great service by the staff!!

I hadn’t been here in a long time, but i will say… they raised the price tremendously. However, they now offer less food to choose from and lower quality food/sushi.

The food was absolutely fantastic. I’ve never been to a Chinese buffet where everything I tried was delicious. Even the Mei Fun was so flavorful. I’m glad we took the chance. Happy foodies, hubby and I and we will be going back

My husband and I went a little while ago,,,he ate,,,I didn’t. There were young children constantly going back and forth to the bars touching everything while the Mothers sat and ate. No parental involvement. However,,when we ready to paid,,,we received a bill for two buffets. Hmm,,,how,,,I didn’t eat,,,,they saw I didn’t eat. I drank two sips of tea. Wow,,,a lot has changed. So enjoy that buffet tip,,,we will never be back. So disappointing.

Food wasn’t too bad, but the service was very rude, and drinks were never refilled. They had plastic silverware and plates, and it was difficult to eat ice cream. I was going to take the ice cream outside with me to let it soften and was told I was not allowed.

I regularly come to this restaurant. It’s in the neighborhood of where I live, so I’ve been here many times. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at or about 8 PM I was seated and proceeded to get my food. When I came back, my drink was not there. I ate my food and was nearly finished when my drink finally arrived. The waitress never came back, not once to check on me, clear the table, or refill my drink. It was not a busy night, and I watched her ignore me while taking care of every table around me. I am an African-American man and I was the only person in there that looked like me. I took pictures of the plates they never removed. After I finish eating, I waited 15 minutes for her to come to my table so I can receive my check. She never came. I then went to the register and complained and the person at the register nodded his head as to say he understand my experience, but without offering any apology, discount, or expressing that someone would deal with this situation later. I made the decision to never return and write a review. I have never had an experience like this at this place. I also don’t recall ever seeing that waitress previously. Either way, I’m done with Chopstix buffet. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Chinese buffet.

Sad situation, maybe they haven’t recovered from COVID-19 downturn. Plastic plates and forks, place looks like a dump, no beef dishes, food uninspiring.
