This is the perfect example of an unassuming restaurant that ends up being absolutely wonderful. Great authentic Chinese options along with the usual comfort takeout classics. Portions are generous and the food is flavorful and comforting. The service is extremely fast and the 2 ladies working when I picked up my food were SO lovely and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. I highly recommend chopstick express!!!

I stopped by on a late-night walk and saw that this little Chinese place still had its lights on. I popped in and a sweet Chinese woman was manning the cashier. We had a conversation and showed me a menu full of classic, good Chinese food. I carried it all the way back home and it still tasted fresh off the Wok. 10/10 would recommend. I’m definitely coming back.

Authentic Chinese food. However, interior should be improved.

Laughably bad flavor, though not out of place for this area. The fried rice didn’t have vegetables?? It was just rice and soy sauce lol. All the food we got was so plain. They really skimped on ingredients. Overall pretty meh

Limited selections, awful boss and stupid store rules. Will never come again!

Bad experience, the lady there charged me $17 extra for “tax”. My wife and I ordered 3 meals for $12.99. Check your recipe before paying.

Amongst the best Sichuan cuisine I’ve ever had. It’s actually incredible that a small town nested in the middle of Pennsylvania like State College has Chinese cuisine of this caliber (but this is likely a function of the university in town bringing in East Asian students wanting authentic Sichuan food…). The location is great, just opposite the Old Main in State College (which, if you don’t know the layout of the town, is at the heart of Penn State University) and on College Avenue. The owner of the restaurant is very nice and highly attentive, and contributes to a friendly atmosphere in the restaurant. Would certainly recommend!
