It’s so hard to find a good smoked brisket sandwich around here. Good tasting smoked BBQ brisket. Decided to give this place a try. Grabbed takeout a few months ago. Sadly disappointed. The meat tasted like a chuck roast, not smoked brisket. Probably won’t be back.

This is hands down the best barbecue anywhere even remotely near the Fort Rucker area, not only is the food savory and freshly made but the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Their sandwiches and sauces are out of this world but to say the brisket is smoked to perfection is an absolute understatement! You really can’t ask for a better place to hold a hail and farewell or similar event with its catering and own separate area designated exactly for that. Hidden in Daleville off of Donnell Blvd, a small front space turns into a long walk to the order desk for a melt in your mouth BBQ: sandwich, filled baked potatoe or massive plate lunch. Many homemade sauces to choose from. I like the Carolina and Jarbenero best! So much food you have lunch for 2 days. We are fortunate to have in Daleville so many local restaurants that feed us well at a great price and help out the community. Choppers is infamous for their Turkey Day meal for all for free (they do take donations from the more fortunate)! God Bless You Choppers Bbq!

Went here the first time for lunch and wow it was delicious and the portions are HUGE. Can’t believe it took me this long to try this place. They do so much for the military and community, which is another bonus on top of the amazing food they serve

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place anymore. Today we stopped for lunch and it was a total mess. Firstly I was charged for my meal twice, was not a big deal when told it would be refunded. But after sorting the double billing and receiving my food I found a quarter sized mold spot on my bun, when I brought it to their attention they told me it was the sauce. So I asked for another bun just for piece of mind, could not believe it when I was handed a new bun with the entire bottom half MOLDED! It turned out the whole pack was molded and they failed to notice it when making any of the sandwiches. Couldn’t bring myself to eat the third one they made after everything.

Great smoke flavor! Mango habenero is not very spicy but has a lot of flavor. Definitely will return. Baked beans had a lot of meat in them. Very good food!

This place is incredibly good! The Betsy Sue sandwich is my go-to meal, it is a giant, delicious mountain of perfectly smoked meats. They have great homemade sauces, the Devil’s Spit is my favorite barbecue sauce I’ve ever had. The owner and his family are good people too!
