This was a girl’s trip to try a new local place. It was for us, and we tried a little of everything. For the most part, the food was delicious. We had reservations at 5, and the restaurant opened promptly at 5. We were seated, and drink orders were taken. Our server was John. I ordered a martini; Cherry Lavender. One of the other ladies ordered a Prickly Pear Magarita. They were both tasty! For appetizers, we had duck tacos (they were a little on the dry side), Rockefeller Oysters, Fried Oysters, and Onion Rings. All of which were appetizing!! For our main entrée there was trout over a bed of rice (which was the special of the day). Two people ordered the Chop Burger, and they were disappointed steak fries as advertised was not served with the burger. I ordered the dry aged ribeye. The first one came out overcooked, but the manager Ryan made sure I was happy and had another one prepared for me, which was absolutely AMAZING! It was served with “corn cake” and creamed corn. The corn cake was delicious. Made me crave more. I was the only one who ordered a dessert. I had the pecan pie with a scoop of vanilla I’ve cream. The pie had a nice flavor, but not enough filling and too many pecans( and I love pecans). I gave the atmosphere a 3 because the building had an old smell to it and the tables were a little sticky and small. I will be back to try the Chop Burger. Give this place a try. Hidden gem with nice service. Reservations are required. Bon Appétit!

Our first time eating at Chop House. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the food and the service was top notch. Can’t wait to go again!

Loved the atmosphere, service and the incredible food! Beautiful day outside, live jazz music on the streets and the brick road reminded me of home as we sat down to eat. I had some of the best scallops I’ve ever had here and also tried a great piece of sirloin. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting an exceptional meal with a touch of nostalgia if you grew up in a small town.

In Thomasville Georgia, this is a must stop. It is a small restaurant so get there early or plan on waiting. Specialty drinks and the favorites. Started with Old Fashion, Oysters Rockefeller, and the Heirloom Tomato Salad (with fried Goat Cheese – WOW) as appetizers and they were awesome. Dinner was the rack of Lamb that we split. Perfectly cooked and super flavor. We will be back.

Great steakhouse in downtown Thomasville, GA. They have a great selection of cocktails and wine to pair with your meal. I recommend the aged ribeye which was cooked to perfection. Dessert was a great gap to the evening. The bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream was delicious as was the New York cheesecake.

Overall a very good experience! Unfortunately I do not remember her name but our server (female, blond, also was bartending) was super nice, personable and very knowledgeable about the menu. She made great suggestions. That blueberry cheesecake was EVERYTHING!!!We will be back soon!

We really enjoyed the food and drinks here. The smoked apple old fashion was simply amazing. I got the aged ribeye. It was good, but to be honest, I was hoping for a tad more flavor (maybe if they used a little of carnivore hard core black seasoning) it would had brought the aged flavoring out more. My husbands stone crab claws were delicious and my daughter loved her NY strip. All the sides were on point. The potato cake was the best. Atmosphere is clean, relaxed, romantic. Our server was great. Very attentive and personable. I wish I could remember his name. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or just going on a date night.

My husband and I made reservations for a well deserved and long over due dinner date. We were sat immediately and the drinks were on the table in less than five minutes. The food was soo delicious. We ordered the side salad, the pork chop, fillet mignon, and the potatoes. It was all amazing and I would recommend it to anyone visiting town or if you are looking for a special date night. On Fridays they have live music and the alcoholic drinks are yummy too! The pink lady tastes just like pink lemonade, it can definitely get you in trouble! Lol

Quaint atmosphere with lots of industrial/outdoors vibes. We ordered the onion rings to start which was very good especially the homemade aioli dip that came with it. For the entrees we ordered the filet and ribeye, both were cooked to perfection! We decided to skip desert because we were so full, but if it was like the other two courses I’m sure it would have been amazing too!

Had dinner there last night. As usual, the steak was excellent, but sadly the service was way below par, and the $36 oyster appetizer had the smallest oysters I’ve ever seen. They really should not have been offered at all.
