Never ate here until yesterday. I’m super picky about my BBQ. We ordered the pulled pork. This was the best tasting pulled pork that I have had in a while and I have been to Charlotte, NC and other cities and they are not touching Choo Choo’s pork sandwiches. The sauce was thick and tasty as well and full of flavor. I look forward to visiting this establishment next time I’m in town. Get yourself to Choo Choo for some pulled pork oh and fried okra. It would be nice if they offered some collard greens and mac and cheese as sides..

Cool late spring night so we ate our killer stuffed BBQ pork potatoes at the picnic table on site!! Fun to watch the sun go down and enjoy expertly prepared BBQ and sides,,,, we had baked beans, fried okra and onion rings!! Good lemonade, too,,, take away is fun too and so convenient on week nights when you want a quality supper!!

I’ve tried this place several times over the last year and each time is more disappointing than the last. Run out of a lot of common menu items that aren’t scarce. Today was my last trip. All I ordered was a “killer” potato with no meat and extra butter. This potato was 1/3 the size of the potatoes I get at other bbq places. It certainly wasn’t worth EIGHT DOLLARS. Missing sour cream and no salt or pepper. I could have gone through Wendy’s and gotten the exact same potato for less than $4. So much for dinner since this is barely even a side dish. I hate giving bad reviews to restaurants, but it’s something every time we come here. The taste was sub-par as well. It’s certainly a challenge to support small business when you can get way more food as expected and far cheaper at the other restaurants nearby. What a shame.

I hade the ribcombo with fries and beans and my wife had the BBQ salad… we enjoyed all too! My only complaint was the chopped chicken was a little dry. The ribs and crispy fries made up for that!

First off, I love Choo Choo BBQ. Everything I have ordered in the past has been quality. But, today I ordered Brunswick Stew for the first time and it was quite disappointing. It was very greasy, overly sweet, and unlike any Brunswick Stew I have ever eaten before. Threw almost all of it away. Hopefully this was an anomaly.

Beef was dry & old. Had to ask for napkins & plastck forks. Woman at window was not ar all Friendly & later told me there was an additional charge for using a credit card. Will NEVER be back & cannot recommend to anyone! $26.00 for dry, inedible food! We eat lots of BBQ & this was terrible!

Don’t know how they are keeping the red headed girl with glasses at the drive thru window or dealing with customers period.

Best place in town for BBQ. All the food is excellent Just wish the drink straws weren’t the size of a coffee stirrer.

This place is hit or miss on consistency, so I am always prepared to be disappointed when I check it once or twice a year …
