My friends and I were delighted to visit this Korean restaurant when we were in the mood for some Korean cuisine. The chilly weather was the perfect backdrop for warming Korean stews, and we were excited to try out this place.

Choga Korean Restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away at the back of a shopping center. This restaurant has been around for a while and offers great Korean food, including the option of Korean BBQ, which unfortunately, I have not tried yet. On my recent visit, I ordered the Japchae, and I would rate it an 8 out of 10. Overall, the food is always spot on and enjoyable.

Did the all you can eat recently. The food is great and for 2 people we were allowed up to 3 dishes at a time. Overall food taste fantastic, but seemed like they were under staffed.

We went for the all you can eat Korean BBQ and had a great experience! There was a wide variety of meats and sides to choose from, and they were all flavorful. Servings of the meats did get smaller over time, but we didn’t mind since the servers were very attentive and they came out quickly. Unlike some other places with AYCE the griddle was very hot so the food cooked quickly. Only complaints were that they didn’t swap out the griddle so our last round was pretty acrid, and that it was pretty hot in there.

We tried the Korean bbq buffet style as they sent over meats for us. I’d say good price to have such a good variety of meat and plentiful sides. Caveat, this is my first time trying Korean BBQ this way but my cousins who vets liked it.

Had a friend introduce me to this place and I am so happy that she did…freaking amazing food which I have found hard to find here in the Kansas city area. I’ve been to many recommended places here and left feeling underwhelmed, this place is definitely not underwhelming 10/10 food, 10/10 service 5/10 decor..but who cares about decor when the food is the star!

The side dishes do not taste fresh. The food itself tastes okay, but the pork rib soup portion is smaller. We got bugolgi, pork rib soup, and pork hock.
