My all time favorite restaurant!!!! I have to say, Cho Dang is the place for the best tofu soup!! The soup is so flavorful and the tofu was perfectly cooked. I always get spicy and it’s the perfect amount of spice. The broth is rich and savory, with just the right amount of salt. The tofu itself was soft and silky, and it absorbed all of the flavors of the broth beautifully. The soup also came with a side of rice, which was a great complement to the dish. In addition, they have tons of side dishes!! My favorite side dish is the fish!!! So delicious and crunchy. The portion size was generous and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Tofu House if you’re looking for a great Korean tofu soup!

Found metal string in my soup… looks like it might be from a metal scrubber. The good thing is I felt it in my mouth before I swallowed it, the bad thing is it made me lose my appetite. Just wanted to share so they can be more careful next time when preparing the food. It can be quite dangerous to swallow something like this.

Their tofu soup was delicious, not very salty. It was served with stone-pot rice, which was awesome as it kept the rice warm until you finished the tofu soup! We arrived around 8:30pm, 1 hour before the listed closing time, so we kind of getting rushed for finishing our meal at around 9:10pm. They actually closed the restaurant right after we stepped out of the door. Parking is easy.

The food is fine. But the waitress is not nice. I didn’t feel being welcomed over there. I have to wait long time to get served. Also they didn’t serve the fried fish at the beginning until I ask for it. I will not go there again.

Always my fav place to go whenever visiting Lakewood area! I love tofu soup (my fav ones are clam tofu soup and beef tofu soup). Their galbi (short ribs) and Budaek jjigae (ramen soup) are alsooo GOOD!!!! We got lots of sides which i can take home

This place is so good! Very pleasant staff! We usually get the Dol-sot Bi-bim-bap – hot stone bowl with rice stirfry. SO good! You get a bunch of different sides and it’s all so filling you can literally split it or have lunch for tomorrow. I love love love the fried fish that they include on the side as well. Highly recommend checking them out!

Food here is quite excellent. Known for their tofu soups. The barbecued meats are also pretty good. Banchan are good, but not the best in town. Fried fish on the side is a nice touch. Really loved the food here, but unfortunately, service is lacking. We happened to go at a relatively quiet time but I know this restaurant tends to get overwhelmed by the amount of customers they seat.

They need to learn to not keep customers waiting so long but most of all to learn how to serve people in relative sequence. 45 minutes of sitting and waiting. 5 to 7 groups of people who got there well after received all their food and we still waited. Glad they are busy but they need to hire more people. Not going back. There are other better places.
