An amazing place to shop for everything Cajun. Shopping for spices and products is the best. They even carry my favorite Pat In Da Pot Cajun seasoning.

I must have missed something? I am unsure as to why there are so many positive reviews. I should preface this review with I am from New Orleans, so I am used to actual Cajun and Creole food. The boudin balls were just ok. Nothing special. They are a little on the small side and the pepper jack cheese is definitely lacking. I give them a 4 out of 10. The crawfish fettuccine was horrific. The pasta was severely overcooked and had turned into a gelatinous ball. The tiny, frozen crawfish had turned a pale grey color. The sauce was so thick that it congealed with the ball of what used to be pasta. There was absolutely no seasoning and no flavor to the dish. I would give it a 2 out of 10. The bread pudding was actually decent. It had nice flavor, but was overly sweet. I’ll give it an 8 out of 10. If I had never been to Louisiana and someone told me, “Try this food because this is what Louisiana food tastes like.”, I would just never go to Louisiana. My co-worker had two bites of hers and was vomiting not a half hour later…

I’m really picky when it comes to Louisiana food since that’s where I grew up. This place gives me a little bit of home with out the drive back to Louisiana. Get some cracklins and Natchitoches meat pies. The poboys ain’t bad either.

Best Cajun market this side of Lake Charles. Seriously, they got fresh cracklins and awesome boudain. Their fried gator is cooked perfectly too, seasoned just right and tender and juicy. If you need better seasoning than you can get at HEB, they apparently got everything you need to do your boil like a Louisiana native. Love this place.

First, not many people can get as Cajun as I am. J’etais nee Cajin et je va mourir Cajin. I’ve been by there 4 times, 2 times closed and 2 times bad experience. The first time, I bought gratons/crackling. Got home and the gratons were barely edible chunks of charcoal. Today, I went by and carefully checked out their gratons . .on display were beautiful, golden gratons, so I ordered a small bag, and didn’t pay much attention that the little girl, that marketing genius, didn’t fill my bag from the Golden nuggets on display. When I got home, I discovered that I had bought a bag of charcoal chunks, not those golden beauties on display, that tasted like boar hog, or had been cooked in over used rancid oil. This place may be good for folks who don’t know better, but if you want to compare, head out to Lafayette area, and stop in at Don’s Meats, or Billie’s Cracklings, or Best Stop . .all in that Lafayette, Duson, Scott area. Sorry, but this place wouldn’t be opened one week serving this stuff, and at those prices in that area. Et c’est pour ca que je va dire, JAMAIS ENCORE. Merci beaucoup.

Chloe’s is a great find! We purchased one of their stuffed chickens. Broccoli, rice and cheese. We smoked it on our grill for an hour. DELICIOUS!

Been craving cracklings for a minute. I usually make my own, but I didn’t feeling like suiting up in armor to keep from getting popped with the grease, LOL. I just googled cracklings and Chloe’s Cajun Market came up. Chile I went scooped my sister and we were THERE!! I got the BIG bag cause just looking at them you KNEW they were gonna be good and they did NOT disappoint. Hot, fresh, meaty, tender, crunchy and FLAAAAVORFUL!! Just the smell alone gets you excited. LOL!! They’re not cheap, but I promise you….they are SOOOO worth it!!
