I always go to the Groton Chipotle and have never had any complaints. Today I got a rice bowl and almost all of my lettuce pieces were BROWN?! That’s how people get sick. Freshness needs to be checked.

First off, I got food poisoning from this location before. I’m not sure what exactly gave me food poisoning, but it was definitely from there since I got sick after eating my burrito. Second, their guacamole and other produce is always brown and gross. I got a side of guacamole today and it was completely brown. I took it back and asked for fresh and they just told me that’s all they had and didn’t offer any sort of compensation. I had to call customer service and they just gave me a coupon for free guacamole on my next order (which will not be at this location). And then third, I find the workers at this location really rude and unhelpful. I have better experiences at the Norwich location and the food is always good there.

Clean , friendly and the managers are wonderful. Chipotle, as a company bugs me in that the promo codes always seem to not work, no matter what. only, app only, in-store, inside, outside, upside down, you can’t seem to get them to be accepted. The managers make things “right”. Freya, an employee in Groton, makes going there a joy with her friendliness and being ready to serve and serving well. The owners take pride in their franchise ownership and that too, is to be commended. People make mistakes, and yes, I know things have changed since the original owner of Chipotle sold out, but this establishment has stayed true, as much as possible to the original business motto and model. Oh, and they do the Gluten-free prep in their manual well, I know we watch every time. Thank you, local Chipotle.

while I’ve had a few issues with this particular store before with cross contamination and poor service, but I still wanted to give it a shot. I ordered a veggie bowl for take out. I’m allergic to red meat so my only options is the vegetarian choice. when I received my order there were 2 pieces of red steak in my bowl. this could have gotten me severely sick, will not be coming back again.

They gave us a lovely greeting as me and my lady walked in. I ordered a bowl and so did she. When I tell you this man FILLED these bowls, I am not joking around. I said half and half for meat and he not only gave me half and half but went back and added more! The employee was so kind and friendly. He cracked a few jokes as we all laughed. This by far was such a smooth, quick and fast process to make sure I was in and out that door. This was if not one of the best chipotle location Ive been too. I will definitely be going back and you should too.

It was an Hockey wearing jersey day and the customer would have been receiving free food ! Upon a BOGO free kind of deal..I had a double steak bowl. It was banging, very fresh and worthwhile as the line literally was out the door..

We were so excited about a chipotle opening up in Groton but wouldn’t you know it, the service sucks. We ordered a total of 5 times. The first Two times took like a whole hour to pick up via drive thru. Then we learned our lesson and We ordered for in person pick up. All the 3 times we ordered in person pick up we had 1 order stolen/taken by mistake which we had to wait there to get our order remade (with not fully cooked brown rice btw, basically inedible), 1 order no issue and the last order wrongly sent to drive thru. The cashier wouldn’t check for us, he just told us to wait. Finally someone checked on us and grabbed the order from the drive thru line. The order is still wrong but with the correct label slapped on. I suspect that the people there knew it’s wrong and still slapped on the label to get us out of there.

Definitely hit or miss like most chipotles. Sometimes it’s really good other times it’s a surprise when you open your takeout. Ordering online is not always the best option. It may be convenient but when they get your order wrong it defeats the whole purpose.
