Usually you pick a restaurant like Chipotle because you know what to expect. It’s not the cheapest but the food is quality and the portions are good. However, the Rutland location seems to have done away with one of those requirements without reducing the cost. I have attached a picture so you can be your own judge, but the portions at this location are incredibly inadequate for the price. When I asked about it, the two employees at the location told me, “no, the portion sizes look about right.” So either Chipotle has seriously cut back on portion sizes or this location is not following corporate recommendations. Either way it’s not worth the cost and I will not be back to the Rutland Chipotle and will seriously consider whether it is worth the risk at other locations as well. Seriously disappointed in this experience.

I’ve never left a review anywhere, but this location made me want to. Let me start off with that the problem isn’t the employees. They are always so nice and very understanding. When they have the resources, the employees do their job and they do it well. But, I have never once had a visit to this location when at least two food items are missing or there is some sort of problem. When I order online the order is always at least 20+ minutes late. And when I finally do get the food, I feel I’ve been ripped off because 3/4 of the bowl is completely empty.

Great staff, they do try hard. They aways get my order right. They need a little more training on how to keep the dining room clean but they get overwhelmed sometimes.

got my order with no sides no chips and no packaging, just a wet ball of cheese and tortilla smooshed into tinfoil. by far the worst fast food experience i’ve had in a town full of pretty gnarly fast food. staff is nice but not much they can do with no ingredients or packaging. i tried to use the support chatbot to ask for a refund and it refused to process my request and disconnected.

I am not a review writer, nor do i want to be writing this review. However, I must acknowledge that this is the 4th time I have visited the Rutland location and been completely disappointed with yet the same issue. I love Chipotle and usually frequent the Shelburne Rd location which runs seamlessly and have always left feeling satisfied. I was so excited to get a Chipotle closer to town. Sadly on every occasion, they have been out of at least 3 things. I always seem to hit them on a Sunday around prime dinner rush (6:30pm). I went one week ago and they were out of Chicken, Steak, fajita veggies, Guac, rice, black beans, lettuce, queso cheese, soft and hard tortillas and sour cream. I am not kidding. Not sure what else you could leave getting, and then pay full price for. So we left. I went again this past Sunday again to give them another shot and as I approached the counter i was met with “unfortunately I regret to inform you……” They were out of fajita veggies, steak, sour cream, guac and lettuce. I was desperate for food and had driven back from NH so i got would i could in a burrito bowl. They still charged 11.00 dollars. When i inquired about why this happened twice to me in the last week, and frankly the last several times I’ve gone, they said it was related to the delivery from their weekly food delivery truck. I think it’s safe to say that if this is an ongoing issue, that corporate should be ordering more food to fit the need of the community, so it can run as a consistent chain. I wont be going back unless they can address this issue. Good luck to you in the future if stopping by the Rutland Chipotle location.

The people here are helpful enough… But i couldnt shake this feeling that i was being silently judged. The women that work here were giving me dirty looks, im not sure why. The food is decent. Its a bit much sometimes though. Which is a good thing, cuz that means they are big servings. The atmosphere isnt much to talk about. Its just, simple and kinda boring. Honestly. This place is NOT worth the hype. Its decent if theres nothing else around that tickles your fancy. But honestly. Youre better off going to taco bell across town.

Terrible hours. I and many other people get done with work and look for dinner at about 7pm, this is not unreasonable. However, for the better part of the summer, the it was a 50/50 shot that this Chipotle would be open at dinner time. In fact there had been numerous occasions when, with a line to the door, the management would abruptly announce that the restaurant would be closing. I mean there are people IN LINE. There is food PREPARED. I cannot understand what their problem is. Last week they posted their hours to be changing to 10:45am to 7:00pm. Stupid but at least we know when they will be closing. Knowing this, I just hustled over to get my order in by 6:30. I am greeted with a sign that says their new hours are 10:45-3….10:45 to 3??? What the heck is that about? We are not a busy metro area that solely does lunch business. In fact, in the time it has taken me to peck out this review (5 minutes), about 8 cars with disappointed customers have driven up and pulled away.

Don’t go to this particular chipotle. Very dirty. All the tables had food and leftovers. They use plastic bags (look at the picture) to contain food. When I asked if these bags are approved to be used for hot food, the store manager said it’s not approved but they don’t melt so I guess it’s okay to use them

Needed food in a hurry. It was tasty, fresh, and quick. I did have to eat my salad with a spoon. They were out of spoons. Sparce decor, but staff able and friendly. We think it tasted better, much better than Taco Bell.
