Really wish I had looked at reviews before spending $25 here. Sesame chicken isn’t supposed to be grey…seriously scared for my stomach. The chicken is also chewy and just taste weird or old. Also the “crab rangoons” are just cream cheese. No crab meat at all. The inside of this place was gross looking too. The fried rice is not even fried rice!!

This place literally needs to be knocked down and rebuilt there is a horrible smell as soon as you open the door as if something died; customer service is worse than the smell. I didn’t even place an order; literally turned around after 1 minute of being in the place.

Coming from the Philadelphia area or east coast. I’ve learned as there are many Chinese food spots to get get great food , it’s not like that once you leave the area. You can find a sprinkle by surprise in other states but mostly let downs. Chinese kitchen in York SC has the worse Chinese rice in the game. I order the popular hood meal created in the early 2000s, chicken wings an fried rice. This platter was to bring more black customers in by adding a chicken wing combo. I seen the Chinese Kitchen had it.. ordered paid 11.45 . Price high, opened the box and there were 4 wings that were a nice size an two small ice cream scoops of colored white rice. No onions no peas or carrots and had the nerve to put no rice!!! Chinese rice is so good in the east coast that you can order a quart by itself an be highly satisfied. Chinese food is nothing without the amazing taste of fried rice!!!! I wouldn’t tell anyone to go here.. that was the worse rice in the world which makes it no point to try anything else! The Chinese fried chicken wings were decent… BUT CHINESE FOOD IS KNOWN FOR ITS GREAT RICE! To the owners, look up the Chinese menu in Philadelphia or New York an learn how to make the FOOD. I’ve found 2 spots thus far in the charlotte area that are ok. One being the hibachi buffet that makes East coast Chinese quinine.

Over priced to much other stuff other than noodles and chicken. Lack of taste is disappointing!! Wish they added salt packets that’s how bad the lack of taste is! They upcharge FOR everything. Not the worst but wont be back. Had to pay extra for the egg roll and to use my card.

30 years ago I was an employee of Chinese Kitchen at the age of 15 I got the job from friends of mine from school Deck and Marla. I worked for Simon & Shirley for over a year until I moved away. I’ve always loved Chinese food in to this day Chinese Kitchen was my favorite and still remains so.

I moved from Lake Wylie to York recently. I grew up on Clover’s Chinese Kitchen and I love that place! When moving to York, I was stoked to realize that I lived so close to another Chinese Kitchen. This Chinese Kitchen is not comparable at all to Clover’s Chinese Kitchen. Do not think they are the same. They are not. This location has inedible food. The rice was bland and dry, the chicken wing I got was, honestly, disgusting. I’ve seen many people at this Chinese Kitchen so they may have found some gems, but I honestly will not eat here again and I do not recommend it to anyone.

I order fried rice extra egg and onion repeated3 times and the still gave me their steamed rice they hold all day to feed everyone who orders rice. When I brought it back the oriental lady acted like she did not understood until I said my money back worst Chinese place in all of the near by states. YORK sc is better than this place save your money!!!!

Usually go to Clover but decided to try York. Crab Rangoon not fully cooked. Honey chicken had no honey and was grey. Food was ready 10 mins after ordering so I should have known.
