I’ve been coming here for years, even at their previous locale next to WaWa. We no longer live in the neighborhood but felt nostalgic tonight so we ordered to take home about 20 miles away. Egg Rolls have such a solid great taste and a crispy snap. (Only once over the last 25 years can I say different) House fried rice was perfect and loaded, shrimp was fresh. Our favorite dish had just the right flavorful touch of everything in the right proportions. Chicken with broccoli in white sauce with fresh garlic. My super picky wife went back for seconds, and said she could probably eat more, but wisely declined. This is your typical hole-in-the-wall Chinese joint with quality food run by a local family.

Chicken and broccoli- Dish was lukewarm, tasteless and you can tell it was not fresh and probably cooked a day or two before. I also found a black hair which did not belong to anyone in the household.

I am sorry, but this was not good. I got the Ultimate Generals Chicken and it was nothing but fried dough with bits of chicken. I thought I was getting big chunks of chicken. The sauce was not sweet at all, very bland. I asked for extra brown sauce on my Shrimp with Broccoli, there was none and it didn’t have any flavor, and again bland. The shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg roll was delicious. I will give props on that. But the rest was straight garbage.

Some of these comments are questionable so I’ll write a real one. I ordered the sesame chicken, the chicken lo main and the egg rolls. The food was good and my grandmother that has dementia (who is picky) approved. The sesame chicken was a little sweeter than normal which I don’t mind that much. Either way it was great and I got a free 2 liter soda which must have been a deal for big orders. Great place lady at the counter was nice and the cooks were efficient.

This is the best American Chinese restaurant near here. Their fried rice noodles and river noodles are better than many Chinese restaurants. Their seasoning is also delicious. As a Chinese, I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Been going to China Wok a few times now and it’s really good “American” Chinese food. General Tao is very good and their shrimp egg rolls are also very tasty. Glad they’re close to my place when I feel like Chinese – which is often.
