Delicious egg drop soup. Very good sweet and sour chicken. And veggie Lo mein was great. This is my new Chinese spot. Not open on Sunday.

Finally, a really good Chinese takeout spot in Asheville. We enjoyed some big ol’ crispy egg rolls, excellent shrimp fried rice, and some really hearty, saucy beef & broccoli. Can’t wait to come back!

This place has been a staple on merrimon for years. The Egg Drop Soup is killer. Everything is made fresh in the woks while you wait! Great little hole in the wall. Even though they don’t have indoor seating since COVID happened you still get great Chinese food to go.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food ever tasted. Threw away after 2-bites. Rib dinner fatty & greasy with some sort of watered down b-b-q sauce. Fried rice plain. No meat nor veggies. No taste. The spring roll had thick fried dough with yucky filler. The fortune cookies included were tasty. Save your order for another restaurant.

I typically would never leave a one star review, but I ordered one order of beef fried rice and for whatever reason it looks like they didn’t even cook the beef it is honestly disgusting

I hate to say this but I got the special me fun, there was more vermicelli spaghetti not really noodles and very little meat and not a lot of flavor. I was hoping for good things but not as good as Metro China who simply closed. Service was fast but lacking in flavor and authenticity

Small portions – not worth price. The Pupu platter (supposedly for 2 people) was $17.95 but came in a standard one-person container and wasn’t full. The menu didn’t list the size for white rice but since it was $7.75 I figured it was a quart. It was only a pint! I paid $45.00 (also got a couple other things) for what I thought was going to be plenty for 2 people and was shocked by how little was in the bag.

First of all, the customer service is absolutely terrible. The General Tsos is not good or genuine at all. It feels as if they got Walmart chicken fingers and cut them up and drowned them in sauce. Second of all it’s covered in too much oil. I refused to eat it since this will obviously get me sick. Third of all there’s barley any broccoli in it and the ones that are in it are discolored.

We just got sesame chicken and general Tso chicken and it is great. The portions are large and the chicken and fried rice are both tasty. I also like how they use recyclable plastic containers and paper bag instead of styrofoam. I recommend the combos because they come with egg roll and canned drink. I also recommend getting some mustard sauce on the side. This is the perfect place to get a good value Chinese takeout fix!
