If you order online or on the phone and ask for extra condiments such as soy sauce or duck sauce Etc. Make sure you check your order before leaving because they usually forget to put condiments or even extra condiments when asked several times.

The food was hot and fresh and the portions in the combination plates were good. The fried rice has only the ingredient you pick from the menu choices so if you want more than just chicken, pick additional options. The restaurant is small and designed more for take out, but the family owners are friendly.

I have never given such a review; really disappointed. The fried rice doesn’t taste like any fried rice we have ever eaten. I eat a blander diet, for medical reasons, so I was shocked to find the food flavorless.

Excellent hole in the wall. Super cheap lunch specials. Don’t pass China Star by. They are only doing takeout now pick up only. The chicken wings are excellent. Help support this business and keep them open. A great go-to when you’re camping at Fontainebleau.

Been here a few times. The food is just ok. Nothing really stands out for them. I’ve only had take out so I can’t speak for in house service. I do know that they are incredibly short with you on the phone when taking your order and subsequently when you pick it up which is a bit of a downer. It’s almost as if you are interrupting or bothering them by doing what they are in business to do. If you have the time, there are better places in Slidell or Mandeville.

My great grandson likes the gen tso chicken. The owners are very nice and to go is always fast and their food is tasty. Have not found a entree I love yet but did try their chicken wings once and they were good.
