Just moved to the area. Ordered 2 x so far. 1st time was delivered and came quickly, food was hot. I had the chicken with garlic sauce. It wasn’t as spicy as other places but didn’t have a problem with it. I’ll just ask for extra spicy next time. Next ordered for pick up, Hunan beef and shrimp. Loved it! Spicy but not overwhelming. Shrimp was good sized and perfectly cooked and beef was tender. I read through some of the negative comments and would recommend trying and decide for yourself.

Very rude and they always take over an hour to deliver but they’re right down the road from me. I’ve used them twice now and it’s always that way. This time was an hour and a half! This time when I called they were very rude and over charged me. They didn’t even give me a chance to talk or say more then 2 words. The entire time I was talked at about how it’s not their problem it’s the banks and it’ll be refunded in a few days. I don’t appreciate being talked at and not to. I won’t be buying from them again. Such a shame cuz the food was decent.

This place is disgusting.. they are absolutely terrible. When I called to tell them I had plastic in my food they gave me an attitude and told me to come up there. So I did. They have young children in there working.. I told them I wanted a full refund of my food because I choked on the piece of plastic that was in the chicken. The lady offered me 6 dollars ? After plastic was stuck in my throat. 6 dollars ? 6 ? So I did not accept and they called the cops. I literally chocked on the piece of plastic it was stuck in my throat and they offered me 6 dollars. I will never in my entire life order from this place again and I would advise everyone else to do the same.

Worst chinese food ever! Ordered delivery because I saw it was fairly cheap. I ended up getting the cashew chicken. The fried rice is bland. The chicken tastes like snot. The cashews are somehow soft and taste funny. The sauce is like straight garbage juice. The only redeeming item was the egg roll and even that was nothing to brag about.

The China Star served us excellent food. The Seafood Dinner was delicious!!! Also, we got stuck in snow outside and they loaned us a snow shovel. The cook came and helped us by shoveling and we got out. Good service !!!

My family ordered from China Star tonight and the food took over an hour and a half for delivery. We called the restaurant to ask if the food was still coming and were told it was a “large” order…and that it was out for delivery but he had to drop off other food first…not sure why qualifies as “large” but we ordered 2 soups & 2 dinners for reference. The delivery guy apparently drove with the food in his car for quite a while before he dropped it off at our house (we live 2 miles away from the restaurant — there is no reason it should have taken an hour and a half to receive it). When the food finally arrived, my husband had to go outside and flag down the delivery guy because he was lost and driving around our neighborhood despite the fact that our address is on our mailbox. The food was cold (not surprisingly). What was a surprise, however, was when I bit into my fried rice and found a piece of a pencil led in my mouth. I am pregnant and was not too excited about the thought of consuming something that could potentially hurt my fetus. How do we know it was pencil led? Well, because my husband wrote with it after I spit it out. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants in the area to choose from…if I were you, I’d choose somewhere else.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Never got the chance to eat here. I ordered a 40$ order for my family and an HR later we are still waiting for it to be delivered. When I called which was twice to see what the hold up was the young girl told me that she tried to call the driver and that she didn’t know where my order was. An hr for Chinese? I’ve never waited any longer than 20 minutes top with delivery from any other Chinese place.
