The dining room was VERY cold. Had to keep coats on. 8 yr old girl taking orders and taking money / answering phones. Hot and sour soup was tasteless. Food very bland. Never again.

I ordered a shrimp egg roll & 10 fried meat filled wontons. They were so so overcooked I couldn’t eat them and they say basically, too bad, how sad. It’s not our fault if you don’t like our food. Doesn’t matter if we burnt it, you eat it. No refunds or replacement. I don’t understand how they stay in business.

Ordered sweet & sour chicken w/roast pork fried rice, roast pork eggroll. Hubby was mad $30. I check & we have fried rice. I take it in & say i ordered roast pork fried rice. She said no you didnt told heri know what i ordered. They did what i ordered & she slams it on the counter …$4. I ask why was my order $34? She says you called in & said you want to order . . She point to menu & next to sweet & sour menu says order. She said next time dont say order say everyday special. Thats scamming people. Place was filthy. Shes talking on phone & i can tell shes b-ing about me because as she hands me the correct order she turns her phone towards me & starts talking. Dirty, everything crammed against buffets. We’ve gone there 41 yrs. 1st time in 4 yrs. All changed. Dont recommend.

Food is good, the only thing is that it’s so far away, but whenever I come visit family, I’ll come to eat. Their General Tso’ Chicken was piping hot when I got home and opened it! The soups have so much flavor and The egg rolls are full of pork on the inside, definitely worth the money spent and the time!!

The general Tso chicken is my favorite Chinese restaurant I’ve ever had. highly recommended…. I continue to come here every week. If I had any complain at all it would be that depending on who takes my order depends on what I get. Because only of the employees working understand when I want to sub the chicken out of the meal for some other type of chicken. (I like the fried chicken they use for sweet and sour chicken). The little girl doesn’t understand what I’m trying to say her mom does. I still come in every week though. Best Chinese food around

So wife and I ordered over the phone. Went to business to pick up our order. Place was filthy dirty, fire hazard in the eat in area, empty cardboard boxes laying everywhere. Oh wait they cut these boxes up and put a piece of cardboard in the bottom of the bag your order is in….so we get home (17 mile drive) open up are food and it was not impressive to say the least. No flavor, over cooked, no veggies in the fried rice!

Disgusting and unsanitary building. Door looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in about 15 years. We walked in and there’s boxes everywhere, it looked like a janitors closet where people are suppose to eat. We were so grossed out that we left. If it’s that bad where people order, I’d hate to see the kitchen .

China Star is the best Chinese food I have ever had. The food is very flavorful and delicious. The staff are very kind and have your food made within 15 minutes! My husband and I come down to get China Star when we are visiting family! I can’t recommend this place enough!
