I started to eat my sesame chicken and the sauce was awesome! Tasted wonderful! Till I bite one big one in half and found out I am not eating any chicken in this…all breading…little shreds of chicken in only a few of the pieces…please be warned…sesame chicken is what I had. And chicken was not what I got…if I could give a zero I would! Sorry but when I get fed this (pictures) I cant believe that they get away with it.

I ordered food from this restaurant on New Year’s Eve for me and finance. I was looking forward to it all day, when I went to go pick up the food, I was checking to make sure all the food was there. When I picked up the container of shrimp low mein, it spilled all inside the bag, I went back to the restaurant and told them what happened. The female that was working their took the bag from me and took it to the bag, grabbed some tongs and started to grab the food from the bag and put it in a new container. I told her that I want a fresh order. They made me a new order, so I said thank you and went home. When I got home we ate the food, the egg rolls had shrimp in them when I asked for no shrimp, the crab Rangoon’s were cold and soggy and the fortune cookies were old and stale. The only good thing about the order was the actual meal.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Worst Chinese food I’ve had in a while. Cream Cheese Wontons were stale and practically empty, and the sweet and sour sauce tasted off like it might have been old as well. General Tso “chicken” pieces were HUGE (see photo- mostly breading mixed with what looks like pork or something), not crispy and rice tasted like instant rice. Beef lo mein was ok. I’ve ordered from here before (Oct 2020) and food was much better – and significantly cheaper. Same order (minus an extra general tso chicken) increased by at least $10 from Oct-August. Had a hankering for this and am left extremely disappointed, as it did not hit the spot.

They were open post hurricane on 9/29/22 and boy oh boy did they take advantage of the situation. No combination platters. Large sizes only. I ordered beef and brocoli , 2 shrimp fried rice and egg roll and total was $42. They overcharged me by $10. Oh of course , no receipt for obvious reasons. Pretty sure they won’t claim their earnings from yesterday. The shrimp fried rice was delicious though. They be scamming but they can cook a good fried rice.

Can’t vouch for anything else but the honey chicken is really good – crispy, great taste, meat is white and not over cooked. White rice was also good. Place looks super clean. After being on the hunt for good honey chicken for months, I’m a fan.

This is probably some of the worst chinese food that I have eaten. Bland and overpriced. everything is overpriced. The girl at the cash register was not rude but just a blank look on her face. I asked for a small sweet and sour sauce, they wanted $2.00. I’ve never paid over a dollar. Back to finding another chinese restaurant to eat.

I was overcharged on my bill. Three chicken wings costed nine dollars and some change and my fried rice was mushy and I was charge four dollars for extra sauce and bean sprouts. Never ever again will I order from here.

Love China Star. Never had a bad order yet. Husband loves Chinese food. I love egg rolls, spring rolls, wonton soup. Oh yeah….have to have those noodles for the soup! Bad thing is….they always disappear before they can go in the soup…lol… Our favs….Bourbon Chicken, General Tso Chicken and fried shrimp.
