The food at this place tastes disgusting! I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken. The quality of the chicken was so bad that I questioned if it was actually chicken. The fried rice was bad and egg roll was horrendous! I’m not sure how this place gets any good reviews with it’s lack of quality.

General Tso’s chicken is very bland and has no taste. It used to be off the chain good. Not sure what happened here, but I will not return.

This place is horrible! Not only was the customer service awful but the food is disgusting! The cost for their food is too high, the quantity and quality did NOT match the price for the food!!! I will not be ordering from this place again!!!

Should have wrote this review years ago. But I try not to trash a local business. The minute another Chinese Restaurant opens in the McGees Crossroads area, China Star will be out of business. The food is terrible, and in 8 years I have never received what I ordered. They can’t put together a correct order. Lest not I forger the personality of the staff. If you expect a smile, you’re in for a long wait. Why have I continued to give them my business? Convenience. No more though. I’m done with this place.

China Star Chinese Food is absolutely excellent. A family owned business, China Star has extremely respectful, well loved staff, and that joy is clearly poured into every meal that they prepare. The food from here is fresh, aromatic, and tasty. China star has the best lo mein that I have ever had, and each dish is richly seasoned and flavorful. The smooth noodles, tender vegetables, and savory protein never fail to be deliciously succulent and moist. The entree portions are also generous and heat up perfectly. I’ve dined on my leftovers from China Star for multiple days in a row, and each time tastes just as delicious and satisfying as the very first bite. Wether you’re a vegetarian, carnivore, or a seafood lover, China Star has a dish for you.
