Little family-run kitchen with takeout or dine in. Wonderful staff, friendly and playful with my noisy kiddos. The orange chicken was very good! Very clean, everybody washed their hands in view and dishes were quick clean up. We’re from out of town, but we’ll definitely visit again next time at the lake.

Food is always amazing. Since reopening their dining room, they have redone the inside, and it looks beautiful! I did a “to go” order, and she told me 15 minutes, and it was out in 5. Great service!

Overpriced food thats not good. I was overcharged there twice, and they just acted like they didn’t understand. Sadly it’s the only Chinese restaurant in Bardstown. M recommendation is to drive somewhere else if you have your heart set in Chinese.

Okay, I must update my review for the 3rd time now. My wife and I just had another awesome hot meal from here. It was so good!! I am confused by some of the other reviews here. We have eaten here since China One A came to town, and we have had nothing but the best, consistently great food! I have eaten at other Chinese food places around the Louisville area, and none of them offer the quality of food or wonderful service that Nicole and her husband have provided us for so many years. I love Nicole, and she knows it! I believe her huband is the chef, and he has done an awesome job with our food and has never made any mistakes with our orders. We will keep coming back and always look forward to the next meal!

Order was correct and on time. Food is over priced for its quality and taste. Paid for fried dumplings and they did not look or taste fried. They have the look, texture and taste of frozen bag dumplings that are heated in a skillet. Paid for an egg roll, it was burnt and dry. Paid for Tso’s Chicken, the sauce’s consistency is like soup and the chicken has no flavor or heat. Rice is old or over cooked. I’ll not waste my money again.

If I could give them zero stars I would. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, they charge my card more than the total every time. Sometimes as much as $12 over. Very bad attitudes. And when I call to place an order they refuse to take my card because I have called and complained about the overcharge.

Extremely good and fresh food. Best egg roll in 50 miles easily. Generous portions and easy environment. Don’t go expecting full service, as it’s a mom and pop take out place, but dear God the food makes up for any fault in service.
