I ordered Happy Family describing fresh lobster ( I can’t find lobster)I find seems to be a pinkish rubbery meat) and the young man who answered said the we usually include 1 or 2 pieces( lobster piece, very minuscule ) jumbo shrimp ( exaggerated 3 small pieces) the rest chicken, jerky beef ( you have to masticate long but good exercise for your jaw.Tip: if you have to order this it’s the same as Four Seasons you save few dollars?/ cents. I battled the cold and rain just to order this not to my standard Happy Family Chinese food in Fanwood

The food was nothing special. I have certainly had better Chinese food. Purchased a combo and added the soup which they gave a larger portion of soup than expected which was nice. I ordered chicken with cashew nuts and asked for no veggies. I order the dish in this way all the time from many different restaurants and for the first time ever I was told I would be charged $2 extra bc there would be “extra chicken”. Looking at the dish if there was more chicken, then I assume there would be barely any chicken if I received vegetables. Also, I ordered a chicken noodle soup and asked for no chicken but miraculously I didn’t get money back for not getting chicken, only got charged more for supposedly asking for more chicken. Quite hypocritical if you ask me.

I went here because of the great recommendations. Food was horrible. Steamed dumplings had no taste at all. Roast pork fried rice has absolutely no pork in it at all and rice was undercooked and crunchy. Wontons in soup tasted horrible. I would not recommend to anyone.

Found a thick black nasty hair in my food. It was disgusting!!!!! Right on top, it was simply careless and nasty! Yes, they refunded my money but what else were they going to do? This was my favorite place to eat, and they completely ruined it!!! I will never eat here again. I suggest others be careful eating here also. The only reason I’m leaving a review is because of how badly it turned my stomach and how easily they brushed it off. Disgusting!

Use to be my fav Chinese restaurant in the area, but the quality of service has been steadily decreasing. Today ordered what I have always ordered when eating here, and they messed the order up twice. When I called to complain they offered 5 dollars credit which equaled about half of the messed up part of the order. This is not the first time the exact same thing happened I’d say about the last 4 orders I have gotten here were messed up with no real compensation. Been eating here for years but this will be the last time I ever order from here again.

Chicken broccoli. Chicken was slimy and chewy ! Veggies and rice were excellent. Chicken wasn’t eaten by anyone. 4 meals. What a waste. Glad the veggies were good !!! Won’t go back. Slimy chicken
