Normally, I would let stuff like this pass because I love Chinese but my experience was awful. There was only a small amount of choices. The orange chicken didn’t even taste like what it should. The sweet and sour is hardly even chicken and disgusting. The sweet and sour sauce was bad. The only good part about the food was the lo mein. It wasn’t too bad but not the best. The staff were rude and lazily threw the food into the containers. The absolute worst part was how the fortune cookies cost money! Free fortune cookies are always the best part but not here. I will not be getting food from here anymore.

Ordered orange chicken + white rice, rice wasn’t ready, so instead I had to go with fried rice. Food was good and decently priced. Enjoyed the meal.

The food was not edible. I would’ve asked for a refund but the staff didn’t really appear approachable so I figured it wasn’t worth the hassle. The fried rice was soggy and had no flavor, and the entree’s were slimy and tasted off. Save your money for a better option at the food court.

So i saw a bumch of terrible reviews for this place. I even double checked to make sure i was reading reviews for the correct place because i have not had any bad experience here… Yes. Its more expensive thank panda express, yes it is not quite as good, but its also a mall Chinese place… Also people said they did not have a lot of choices, i was confused because there are a ton of choices… They all taste similar. But they are different choices…

I am usually pretty generous with my ratings but after the digestive reactions this place gives me as well as my food having a dirty taste 40% of the time I couldn’t even bring myself to put 3 stars. When the food is done right however the food actually tastes really good and you get a lot for what you pay. As this is a takeout restaurant I really don’t mind the lack of special treatment as a customer by the staff but if you are picky about it then panda express is what you are looking for.

Been coming to China Max for years. Went yesterday for dinner. Food quality has declined tremendously! Food wasn’t worth $5 in my opinion. Very mediocre portion size for $13 dollar. Egg roll was uneatable. This is unacceptable food quality for Cool Springs!
