So I went hoping this would be some semi decent Chinese food. In my 30+ years on this earth, it is the worst I have ever had. Please, do not feed their “teriyaki” chicken to your enemies….it is aggressively salty and wreaks of fish. I eat alot of Asia cuisine and use fish sauce at home alot. This particular dish was bad and should not have been sold to consumers. I have never in my life thrown away a full plate of food, but today I did. They also tried to over charge me 8 dollars.

My mom ordered from China Max through Grubhub. She ordered the orange chicken for her and the General Tso Chicken for me, but the restaurant gave us two plates of orange chicken. Fortunately, Mom was able to get a refund for the missing, but we’ll never order from there again especially after reading some of the reviews here.

Ok let me start by saying the food was terrible. It was genuinely hard to stomach. All I got was a plate with chicken, rice, and a drink. When I checked my bank statement it showed it was $19. So they either ripped me off, or they are charging that much for bad mall food. They workers are also pushy and unkind. I DID NOT receive a receipt either. Seems sketchy. Might go back and see what the pricing really was

Please check your bank account!! I was overcharged for my meal plus charged a separate fee which i was not aware of nor did I authorize!! I have tried to call multiple times every day and the phone is always busy!! I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!!

I ordered Orange Chicken, took a bite, and it was RED! Looked at a few more pieces, all red/dark pink. I returned it, and not only did they not refund my full amount (gave me $7 back of a $9 order) but when I got home to check my bank statement, the amount they charged my debit card was higher than the amount on my receipt!

I was overcharged for my lunch. I didn’t realize until I got home and checked my bank statement. They didn’t give me a receipt either. It seems like this is a common practice here as I’ve read other reviews. Seems very sketchy.
