Delivered sweet and sour chicken without the sauce. Noticed it as soon as I opened the bag, but not in time to catch the delivery driver. Called, and had to ARGUE with the person on the phone. Was told there was only one driver, so they didn’t know when they could deliver – the entire point of sweet and sour chicken is the sauce. If you ever order from this place, make sure you open the bag in front of the driver. Also not the first time my order was wrong. Tired of giving them the benefit of the doubt. BS.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the area – my #1 go to. My apologies for the photo after I dug in. I ordered the General Tso lunch special extra spicy. The food is so delicious and has an extra kick, which is what I look for. The service was awesome. The attendent greeted me, confirmed my order, asked me to pick out my canned drink from the fridge, and he said enjoy, happy holidays – the little things. I’ll definitely be returning here for General Tso. Thank you, China Kitchen.

I have been ordering from China Kitchen for about five years now for delivery, I ordered Thursday evening and they sent us the complete wrong order, when I called them back to ask if they could fix the order and send us new food, or just credit me for the next order, they decided to hang up on me. Then when I went to call back a couple days later, they did not answer my phone call. I run a business myself and I would want to know if my employees treated my customers this way.

my mother and i order from this place a lot, obviously not anymore after this. my mom lives off disability checks and we struggle financially. times are tough mentally too so we ordered delivery to take off the stress of cooking for a few days. mind you we could barley afford dinner as it is so she was only able to tip a dollar. tell me why your delivery driver told us “the owner says if you don’t tip at least $3 we won’t deliver here anymore”? seriously the audacity is insane. and it’s not the fact that they asked for a larger tip but the way they threatened to not deliver anymore if we didn’t. so rude. so unprofessional. you are not entitled to a tip. a tip is not required, shame someone who is tight on money for not giving you a large enough tip without knowing anything abt their situation is horrible customer service. i hope those $2 really made you satisfied.

The owner who answers the phone is rude and disrespectful. We placed an order that included sweet and sour chicken. When the food arrived we were missing the sauce. It took almost an hour for the food to come and then we had to wait another 25 minutes for the sauce. Food was cold by the time we actually ate. Worst part was the man that answered the phone when I called. I originally asked for a time frame, but was told he has one driver. I waited 20 minutes until I called back again and asked him again. I said okay, if we don’t know a time frame and we won’t get the sauce then I’d like to request a refund. He accused me of trying to get free food and never once apologized for their mistake of forgetting the sauce. While I was on the phone filing a complaint with the delivery app the driver came back with the sauce. Their drivers are great. Sadly we will never order from them again because of their owners poor customer service skills. Lots of Chinese food in Sarasota.

So yesterday I ordered online and I tried to pay but wasn’t sure if my card was working properly so I sent my husband to pick up the food and I explained to him the my card was working properly so he went to pick up the food and payed with his card! After he picks up the food the owner calls me and said that my card was declined and that I didn’t pay for the food! I tried to explain to him that my husband picked up the order and payed with his card! He didn’t believe me and kept telling me I didn’t pay for the food! I kept telling him I did pay but he kept telling me I didn’t ,so I decided to go to the restaurant personally and show him the receipt they handed to my husband. He didn’t even apologize after he saw the receipt he didn’t say anything. He made me feel so bad! I don’t steal food! And to the owner please check all your receipts before you call a paying customer and yell at them saying they didn’t pay!
